One Shot Wonder

Saturday, June 26, 2010

Could this be a one shot wonder or am I on a new path to being a model!? Of course, it could be the cool Toy Story jammies that Nana sent me from her trip to Gatlinburg. Thanks Nana!

Ice Cream and Tricycles

Wednesday, June 23, 2010

What a wonderful day!!! I got to see my very first ice cream truck and I got to practice riding my tricycle! Daddy was also so excited to see the ice cream truck. He had his wallet ready as soon as he heard the sweet music. I chose to enjoy a delicious juice box. I wouldn't have a thing to do with the ice cream Daddy bought himself and Mom. Oh well, the summer just started so maybe I will try some before the end of the summer.

Catch Up Time

Friday, June 18, 2010

Today Mommy and I made the executive decision to stay home this morning so we could spend some time with Daddy. All my friends were meeting up at Fort Hunter to play. I loved this park and definitely want to visit it again soon. At any rate, today will be a catch up day for my blog.

I have been a very busy boy lately and have neglected keeping you filled in on my adventures. I recently had Nana in to see me for a few days. Mom had a doctor appointment and needed to get a things done without me, so Nana came to keep me company. We had a blast as always!

Nana bought me my first tricycle. I feel in love with it at first site. We had went to Target to spend some of my summer fun money that she gave me and I saw it sitting on the shelf. It was screaming my name and I could tell it wanted me to hop on! I quickly tore it off the shelf and sat down. It fit perfectly! I could reach the pedals and everything. Mommy and Nana showed me how to pedal. I did a pretty good job but I know I have a lot to learn.

I also got another surprise with my summer fun money. Mommy had ordered me my very first Airzone Trampoline. It is a little trampoline that will only hold me and is enclosed. I can jump my little heart out in that thing! Mommy is thinking about keeping it in the garage for those rainy days.

Last, but certainly not least, I went to my very first baseball game! Mommy with her mad couponing skills, found a way to get us free tickets to the York Revolution game. She went to buy donuts and the lady told her that if she bought a dozen that she could have 2 tickets in honor of Maple Donut Day at the Park. Of course, she took the deal and brought home donuts for us and for my fabulous neighbors! What a great deal! I enjoyed the game for the most part and behaved myself. I did insist on a hat and a foam finger to wave around. I was the cutest little fan out there!!!!

I will have to think of what I am leaving out....it has been a busy week!

Zoo America - Take 3

Thursday, June 17, 2010

Today I got to go to Zoo America for the THIRD time this year thanks so my free tickets! Every single time I go, I have a blast and find a new favorite animal. Today, I fell in love with a lizard and a turtle. The lizard would run and climb on the turtle's back. I thought it was so funny. My buddy Spencer and I would squeal everytime! The lizard even charged the glass and was staring right at us! It was so cool. I got to eat lunch with all my friends from the playgroup we are part of now. This summer keeps getting better and better!

Lake Tobias

Thursday, June 10, 2010

Today I went to Lake Tobias! I have to say that it was a little overwhelming for me but I really did have a good time. What is Lake Tobias? Lake Tobias is a wildlife park located in Halifax, PA. It is huge and has many animals to look at. At the park you can walk around and visit a bunch of exhibits, feed animals in the petting zoo, or even go on a safari! Yes, you can go on a safari and get up close and personal with many animals. I was full of energy, and was my buddy Robbie, so we decided to do all three.

After about 7 seconds in the petting zoo, we quickly realized that I am definitely a city slicker. Mom had bought crackers to feed the animals and given me one so I could take part in the fun. Well, I didn't quite understand that I was supposed to give the cracker to the goats so the goat decided to eat my shirt. Yes, the goat had a mouthful of my new white shirt in his mouth. I was screaming. Mom was being mauled by animals because she had a stack of crackers. I thought I was a goner. Finally, the attendant to the petting zoo decided to come to our rescue. He scared all the animals away and I quickly threw my cracker as far as I could and made Mom hold me. Don't worry, I eventually got back down and tried it again. Mom told me to keep moving and the wouldn't eat my shirt. So when I would see one coming, I would scream and run the other way. Yeah....and Mom told me that was supposed to be fun.

I did enjoy the zoo exhibits. I kept trying to feed the monkeys and lemurs rocks. They weren't happy and let me know it. I also got to see zebras for the first time! So cool! There were lots of deer, ducks, bison, peacocks, elk, and a bunch more I can't think of right now. We got to see most all of them up close when we went on the safari tour. It was so neat. We got to ride in a camoflague bus that had the roof cut off of it. It was my very first time on a bus!

Mommy took lots of pictures (189) so she has only a small amount of them ready to post. Hope you enjoy them!

Lingle Memorial Park

Thursday, June 3, 2010

Another day...another park! Have I told you lately that I am having the best.summer.ever!!!!!? Well, I am! Today we went to Lingle Memorial Park. It is a park that is located right beside the park we were at yesterday with Daddy. Today my meet up friends came out to play with me. I did however, have a little mishap. I fell off a picnic table. No worries though. I had a little scuff on my chin but nothing else besides a bruised ego. I think I nearly pushed Mommy over the edge with that one. I have been a bit clumsy the last couple of weeks. Let's take some bets on when I have another mishap. Mommy says less than 48 hours!
