Bananas aren't so bad.

Saturday, May 31, 2008

Bananas aren't so bad. I am really starting to enjoy all these new foods that Mommy, Daddy, and Nana are feeding me. Today we tried what I call Naners! Boy, they were good. My Great Grandma Seme would be so proud of me! Don't get me wrong, I am still a soy boy at heart but I like the new stuff too. Naners were definitely better than carrots. Mommy had another Remicade treatment yesterday. Everything went well and she is feeling good. She is feeling so good that she is able to play with me all day! Of course, I have caught her napping with me a couple of times today. I didn't get to go with her to her treatment but Daddy kept me here. It was just us boys and we had sooooo much fun.

There's a duck in the kitchen!!!

Wednesday, May 28, 2008

Check out my new bathtub! Nana bought it for me so I could have fun while taking a bath. Instead of putting it in the tub, Mommy let me play in it in the kitchen! I had so much fun. After I was finished taking my bath, Nana put it out in the garage. Daddy was so surprised when he came home and there was a duck in the garage!

I am a little bit Kentucky!

Tuesday, May 26, 2008

How do I look? My Great Papaw Watts is responsible for this. When Mommy had me in her belly he gave her money at one of my parties and told her to buy me something nice. Well, she had to get me my first UK outfit and a thoroughbred horse! See, I have a little bit of Kentucky in me!

An added boost from carrots!

Monday, May 26, 2008

Today has been a big day for me. You are never gonna believe what I learned to do! I rolled for the first time. Yup! I went from my belly all the way over to my back. Mommy and Nana saw me do it and they got so excited. They were so excited they both screamed and scared me to death. I couldn't help it, and I started to cry but Mommy and Nana explained that I didn't do anything wrong. I guess they have a funny way of showing their excitement. I dread seeing what they will do when I start crawling or talking!

I would like to thank the carrots I ate for lunch. I really think they gave me the added boost I needed to roll over. I can't say that I enjoyed eating them, but Daddy told me that veggies would make me a strong and healthy boy. However, I think my face in the pictures Mommy took sum up my true feelings on carrots. Mommy did whisper to me that she makes faces too if there are carrots on her plate.

Look at me...I'm a big boy!

Sunday, May 25, 2008

I feel like such a big boy today! Thanks to my Grandma and Grandpa Kaye I can sit at the table like a big boy with my Mommy and Daddy for dinner. They bought me the most comfortable seat on the market! I took over Mommy's normal chair so I could be in between my Mommy and Daddy. Today I got to eat some more pears for lunch. Pears are one of my most favorite treats. I am still a little bit messy but I blame Mom being that she is a rookie at feeding me. Hope you enjoy my pictures!

What is this stuff?

Monday, May 19, 2008

What is this stuff? I thought cereal was supposed to be good. Mix some pears or applesauce in and maybe I will start to smile.

Put me in coach!

Saturday, May 17, 2008

I finally got to wear my Cleveland Browns outfit that my Uncle Mark got me. It took me over 4 months to grow into it but I finally got big enough to wear it. Mommy was so excited that and she took so many pictures of me today. I even got to wear it to Target. We had to go get me some more soy being that I like to eat as much as my Daddy! Mommy got me two big cans that should last me for a few weeks. I also got to try pears last night with Mommy and Daddy. They were so yummy. I think these are my favorite so far. Mommy couldn't feed me fast enough. Tomorrow I get to try peaches with my cereal. I am so excited. I also think that Daddy will take me for ice cream. He asked me if I still had my dollar from last week. I hope I can find it. Nana promised me that she would go with us too. I know that she will like it! Well, I better go to sleep now. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for a 4 month old!

Mommy started Remicade...

Friday, May 16, 2008

Mommy started her Remicade treatments yesterday at the Hershey Medical Center. She was so brave. We got there right at 2:15pm and her appointment was scheduled for 2:30, but about 30 minutes of waiting they came and told us our appointment was at 4pm! Mommy thought she was going bananas! However, the receptionist later told Mommy that the appointment was changed and no one called to confirm with us. Mommy felt better after being told that she wasn't going crazy. They also told me that I couldn't go back to the infusion room with her even though I was on my very best behavior. Mommy remained brave and went in for her treatment and I got to hangout with Nana in the lobby. Mommy was gone for quite some time. I got so excited when she came walking out the big doors and smiled at me. I was so happy she was smiling at me. She slept through the night like me, a baby! However, I got up early in the morning and she slept a little longer while Nana took care of me. When she finally got up, she was ready to play with me. I am so glad that everything went well yesterday.

Okay...guess what my Mommy does when we are bored? She dresses me up as my alter ego, SuperBrady Baby. Sorry I have to go so soon. I have to go fight some crime!

I got a jumperoo!!!!

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Well, I got my big surprise. It was the rainforest jumperoo. Mommy and Nana picked it out while I was asleep at Kmart on Friday. They snuck it in the car and in the house while I slept the whole thing. My Nana put it together in 7 minutes flat. She is so good at putting stuff together for me. At first I was a little overwhelmed with the jumperoo. There was lights, music, birds over my head, and so many toys all around me. I made Mommy and Nana so proud when I was able to hold my head up and jump at the same time. I think Nana got the most excited. Mommy as always acted like the paparazzi and took lost of pictures. I jumped so hard, I went to sleep right in my jumperoo! yes, I laid my head down and went to sleep. Mommy couldn't believe that I jumped myself to sleep. Enjoy the pics!

Happy Mother's Day Mommy...

Sunday, May 11, 2008

Happy Mother's Day Mommy. I hope that you enjoyed my card and gift certificate that I picked out for you. I had to borrow money from Dad. He told me that he wouldn't charge too much interest...whatever, that means! I was so excited when you came in my room this morning to spring me. I know how much you love morning smiles, so I was extra smiley just for you. I am so happy that I got to spend Mother's Day with my Mommy and my Nana. We had so much fun on our walk. Mommy and Nana needed to take a walk being that Dad made such a delicious steak and chicken dinner. I am still sorta confused. Why does Mommy cook inside and Dad cooked outside? Hmmm, maybe one day I will figure it out.

Dad also took us to get ice cream. We had so much fun. Mommy gave me a dollar to put in my pocket for my ice cream but Dad went ahead and paid for it. He is so nice! You can see the dollar peeking out of my pocket in the photos below. Mommy always has her camera ready to go!

I can't wait until we go for ice cream again. Mommy told me that she had a big surprise for me tomorrow! I can't wait! Until tomorrow...
