Headin' to Kentucky

Today I am headin' down to Kentucky for the week. I must say that I am pretty excited to see Mommy's family. I am also going to meet Nozzle for the very first time. I am so excited because I love puppy dogs so I know we are going to have some fun! Nana was able to get off work for the time we are going to be in town so I get to spend extra time with her. It's going to be a great trip!!!

Well, today has been one heck of a day. I had plans to go to Corn Cob Acres with my good friend Robbie....who I call "Bobbie" these days. Well, after we drove all the way over to Lancaster County the darn place was temporarily shut down due to zoning issues. Total Bummer! Oh well, you know that didn't even phase our fun though. We quickly decided to have lunch at McDonald's and a fun visit to That Fish Place and That Pet Place. That Fish Place is a huge place you can fish and fish supplies -- simple. That Pet Place is a huge place that you can buy everything else besides fish. You name it, they have it. I got to see all kinds of reptiles, fish, birds, gerbils, hamsters, dogs, and cats. It was crazy fun. Bobbie and I ran around the store like crazy. We also decided to kick a dog ball all over the store like it was a soccer ball. It was so much fun considering it was Plan B. Sorry, we didn't take any pictures in here either. :(

New Friends and New Places

Today I met a new friend and got to visit a new place. How great is that! Mommy got an email from the Meet Up people that informed us of a new playgroup in the area and we knew we had to join! Luckily, there is no dues or fees associated with this group so we didn't have to pay anything to take part in this one......no money lost if it turns out to be a dud. Well, there was a meet up scheduled at Gifford Pinchot.....which is probably the very first park I went to when I was little. We ended up going to a different section of the park which was new to us. The best thing of all is that I got to play with a little girl named Sada Star....such a cool name. We had a blast together and got along really well. You know, I think we are going to have some fun with this group!

Today is the day that I am going to play catch-up. It seems like everything imaginable has been going on here. Everything from a visit from Nana, Hershey Park trips, and many appointments have all hindered my punctuality of my daily posts. Finally, all sickness seems to be out of the house and I am sleeping back in my room by myself so Mom will have time to get things back on a routine. So, keep checking back because Mom will update the last couple of weeks sometime between now and tomorrow.

Today was a day that I began to conquer some fears. Well, maybe I should say some of my dislikes in life. After a hotter than usual day, we finally got some rain to cool things off. Well, Mommy decided to take me outside and let me mess around with the wet sand in my sand table. Normally, I don't like to touch wet sand but after a little coaxing, I dove right in and played like a champ! Mommy and I had a blast filling up my trucks and squishing it in our hands.

Today is a Daddy Day!!! It's Tuesday and Daddy is off work. What could be better? Oh, it does....Mom is going out tonight with some of the other Moms from my playgroup. You know what this means, right? All evening with my Dad! So awesome!

Around this house, I call it Monday Night Baseball! I really think I am getting pretty good these days. I am able to switch from my left to my right and still hit pretty good. Mommy is super excited that I like playing tball. She found a couple of leagues that start at 3 years so that means I can play next year! Yay!!!

OMG! Today had to be one of the best days of my life! I got to go back to Hershey Park for the 3rd and final time this season. This time I got to take my friends with me!!! My best buddy Spencer joined me along with the twins. We all had such a great time. Somehow, I managed to even take a nap in my stroller which allowed us to stay longer when I woke up. We managed to stay in the park for around 10 hours!!!! Craziness! I once again was a very brave boy except for one ride called the Bumble Bee. The Bee had a fan in the rear which is where my feet were hanging out. When I saw the fan, I freaked. It wasn't a bad freak out but it was one were I looked a little uncomfortable. I managed to remain calm and seated until the ride came to a complete stop. Boy, this day was a great day!

Today I went to one of my favorite parks ever!FORT HUNTER!!! It was especially fun because all my friends came out to play. We had such a good turnout and all the kids had a blast. Oh, and I decided to go down the fireman pole all by myself!!!! Of course, "Aunt" Emmy was there to catch me if I fell. Boy, I sure am growing up!

Daddy told me that I was the best little helper that he ever had. I like to help my Daddy, especially when it involves tools. Daddy has taught me a lot about tools over the years. He can tell me to go in the garage and bring him back a certain one (like pliers or a wrench) and I can bring back the correct one! Tonight we fixed the landscaping lights because the timer on the old box had crapped out. After a long evening of work, we now have a lit up house during the appropriate hours! Good job Dad!

Today I got to spend all day at Hershey Park with my NANA!!! We were both Hershey Park Happy! I had such a blast riding all the rides and I even managed to get Nana on a rocket ship ride. I think she had a good time being that she smiled and squealed the whole time. I am so glad that I got to share this special time with my Nana. Nana, thank you so much for making the long trip to see me. I can't wait until we can do CandyLane!

Nana's Here!!!!! That's right! I picked her up from the airport with Mommy. I was so excited to see her....not the least bit shy! You are never going to believe what Nana brought with her! She brought a huge suitcase filled with all kinds of goodies. You name it, she brought it...Thomas, hot wheels, Little People, and so much more. I was a kid in a candy store with all the cars and trains. Most importantly though, my Nana came to see me and boy did we have a good time together. Nana, you made my week and I am so excited to see you again at the end of the month!
