Kite Flying = FAIL!

Today, we decided that we are not kite fliers. Yup, we tried to fly both my kites and we could not get it to stay in the air. Mommy came close but she just couldn't keep running and I tried my best to catch the kite. I finally gave up and decided to take a rest while I laid on my kite. Daddy said that it wasn't windy enough and that we could try another day to fly my kite.

Mommy said that I was her favorite toy in the toy box.

I was trying to stay out of trouble in my box.

Now, I needed to figure out how to get out of this thing!

Easy!

Oh well, I guess I can sit here and sing in my Brobee microphone.

The Octopus is back!

The octopus is back! I went outside to the backyard to play before bed time and the octopus attacked me. I was so excited to see it. I was still a little afraid of it and Daddy had to run over to it with me. Mom said she had to take pictures so she couldn't get wet. Daddy was laughing about as hard as me. I think he really enjoyed it!

Today I finally got to have some outside fun. I didn't think I was going to get to go out today because we had our first big thunderstorm. I had never experienced a thunderstorm while I was awake and I have to say that the loud thunder really scared me. Mommy had to hold me until it passed. By the time Daddy got home, the sun had come back out and we got to go play. I had to go check on my peach tree to see if the peaches are still growing. They looked good. Mommy told me that I used to eat peaches when I was a baby. Who knows? I may decide to try them when they get big enough to pick.

I miss my Nana! My Nana had to go home today on the airplane. She had to return back to Kentucky so she could go to her doctor appointments. I was sad to see her go this afternoon. We had such a wonderful time together. I have to say that I was a little attached to her this visit. When we dropped her off at the airport, I cried when she didn't get back in the car. I spent a good part of the evening looking all around the house for her. I was hoping that she was playing hide and go seek! I can't wait until I get to see Nana again.

Nana, thank you for coming to visit me. I had a blast. I love my new big boy shoes! I am going to be such a good walker in my stride-rites. Oh, and Mommy gave me the big surprise this evening....I love my rearranged playroom! I can't wait until I can take a nap in my big boy bed. We spent the whole evening playing in there. I love it!

I was so excited about all the changes in my playroom that I couldn't stand still. Mommy promised that we would get some big boy bedding for the bed soon.

I spent a big chunk of the evening cooking in my kitchen.

I helped Mommy put all the toys back in the bins before we went upstairs.

The choo-choo train never gets old.

I love the little people garage that Grandma and Grandpa Kaye got me last year. I can make the car noises and everything now when I play!

A good book is always a good ending to a long day.

Technical Difficulties

I just wanted to let everyone know that all is well. Last night, we experienced some technical difficulties and couldn't get anything to post. However, it looks like blogger is back working and it won't belong until we have some new pictures posted.

Infusion Day

Today was Mommy's infusion day. She is in the clear for another eight weeks. Mommy and Nana left before Daddy and I got out of the bed. The infusion took a little on the long side because the nurses wanted to be cautious with the rate of the medicine. They were pretty sure the rate was why Mommy had a hard time last year. Mommy told us that she had one little moment were she had trouble breathing but she was able to hang in there and they didn't have to stop the infusion. Mommy and Nana were super excited. Mommy was feeling pretty good after and is hoping that she continues to feel good. We are having so much fun with Nana being here. I promise that we will get some really good pictures tomorrow for everyone.

Watch out for the octopus! Don't say I didn't warn you when you come to my backyard! Okay, I will tell you about the octopus. You see, there is this octopus in my backyard and he has all these wild arms that fling around and spray water. It is crazy! Mommy and Nana found it this morning at the store and thought that I would have a lot of fun playing with it. At first, I was scared to death but after a few minutes and with Nana's help, I was having a blast playing with the octopus. Nana made sure that it didn't hurt me.

I am hoping that I get to play with it again tomorrow while Mommy goes to the hospital to get her infusion. Please say a prayer for her this time. She is kind of scared and nervous this time but doesn't know why. I told her not to worry because her fortune cookie tonight said that she was ready to take on the world!

Today was another great day with Nana. Nana took me to get me sized for new shoes! The lady at Stride-Rite measured my foot and helped me pick out the perfect pair of sandals and sneakers. I liked the sandals so much, I wore them throughout the mall. Nana decided that I deserved to go to the talking tree because I was so good at the shoe store. I tried on at least 8 pair of shoes and never got fussy. The only time I got fussy was when they lady tried to take my new sandals off of me. I wanted to wear them! She told Mommy that was okay and she put my old shoes in the box for me.

I ran all around the Enchanted Forest where the talking tree is located. I kept up with all the kids and never tripped over my shoes....not even once! I am such a big boy now. Mommy promised that she would take pictures of me in my new shoes tomorrow. We got home right before my bed time so I had to hurry and take my bath. You are going to love them!!!

My Nana is finally here!!! I was so excited to see Nana. I took right up with her and she wasn't a bit afraid of me either. We had such a great first day. Mommy had to stop by the grocery store to buy me some soy and Nana bought me the coolest balloon. It is Bugs Bunny and bigger than me! I will have to show you all a picture tomorrow. We were all so excited today so we forgot to take any pictures. Crazy, I know. I have some leftovers from the past couple of days.

Ready or not, here Nana comes!!!! I am so excited to see Nana. Mommy told me that I get to go with her to the airport to pick her up. I sure hope Nana isn't afraid of me. I figured that I would pack some extra puffs so I could give her some when she gets in the car. Mommy is excited to see Nana too. She says that my new climbing ability is running her ragged. I spent most of the day climbing on something and Mommy spent most of her day telling me to sit down on whatever I was climbing. I was such an active little boy, Mommy didn't get to take that many pictures of me today!
