I tried so hard to stay awake. I gave it up at about 11:31:16. It was a good run this year. Who knows, maybe next year I will get to see the bologna drop in Lebanon!?

I have been such a busy boy the past couple of days! I am recovering from Christmas and preparing for the New Year. Man, I have to tell you that I am a very blessed little boy. On Christmas morning I was surprised by all kinds of goodies that my Nana had wrapped up for me. I got some really cool hotwheels that roll like crazy on the floor. They were all a huge hit. My Mickey Mouse Choo Choo train is really fun too. Mommy lets it chase me all over the living room. I am sure that Pa Obie approves of it. I also got Geo Trax with the Cars cast! It looks like it is going to be so much fun when Mommy and Daddy figure out how to hook it up. I like playing with it just they way it is now. Thank you so much Nana for taking the time to come up early so I could have some cool surprises on Christmas morning.

The big boy bed is still going great. I like being able to get up and down as I desire. I get up every morning and check out my circus tent and play with my cars on the window sill. Mommy thinks it is so cute when she hears me playing away in the mornings. Now all I need is a soy fountain and a TV and I may not ever come out of there!

I just want to thank everyone again for all the love and joy you each brought to my holidays. I know that I am a very loved little boy. I love you all!

Just Checking In...

I am just checking in since I haven't been able to post anything over the last couple of days. I am hoping tomorrow I will get to fill you in on the amazing Christmas I had. So far, the big boy bed is going super. I am sleeping in my room throughout the entire night. I have stopped running from my room in the morning and now I like to hang out with Mom and play with my cars on the window ledge. I also spend a bit of time playing peek a boo with Mom from inside my circus tent! Daddy started his new shift at work so that has taken us some time to get adjusted. Mommy has been going to bed early in case I have a "rough" night. Now that Daddy is having to sleep in the mornings she knows it is all up to her. So....I give you the Brady K promise that tomorrow I will post pictures as well as tell you all about my goodies I got for Christmas!

It almost Christmas day!!!!!! I have been wound up all night. Could it be because Christmas is tomorrow? Possibly. Of course, let's face it.....I have energy to burn after being caged up inside all the time. Mommy and I did spend the day making Peanut Butter cookies for Santa (Thanks John Blue for letting us know that they are his favorite!) and writing him a note with crayons. My official favorite color crayon is yellow. I won't let anyone else use it and I have to hold it in one of my hands at all times. I also refuse to try and eat the yellow. I have tasted green, blue, and red which I can't say that I care for any of them. I am sure I will try to eat more in the near future. Mommy is going to try and take some good photos of me opening my presents. I have my Christmas Jammies on and ready for the present opening marathon. We hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas day and each and every one of you are in our thoughts. Merry Christmas too all!

More Surprises!

I got more surprises today! My surprises today were from Uncle John, Aunt Laura, and John Blue and boy were they awesome! They sent me some stylish new clothes, a Spiderman bubble maker thing, and a HUGE Circus tent!!!!!! Oh my goodness, I have the big top in my bedroom. Mommy could tell that I was super excited about it so she decided to put it together with me "helping" her. The good news is that we are still talking to one another but the bad news is, it doesn't quite look like the picture on the box. Mom has to take another stab at it when Daddy is home to entertain me. They even sent Daddy some crazy Krazy Salt and Krazy Pepper. Oh, and I can't forget the Habanero Hot BBQ Sauce....which I am NOT a fan. Last but not least, Mommy got a beautiful necklace. It has the phrase "You are worth it all" and my inital "B" on it. She absolutely loves it. Just perfect.

On a final note, I will give you an up-to-date report on me and the big boy bed. TOTAL SUCCESS! That is correct! Last night, I slept in there all night long. I went to bed about 10pm and slept until 7:30am! Mommy only had to come into my room one time to put me back in bed. Apparantly, I pulled an Uncle Mark and decided to try and sleep on the floor. I was pretty cozy to be honest. Needless to say, Mommy returned me to my bed and I stayed there for the remainder of the night. Yay me!

Suprise Filled Day!

Let me tell you....my life has been full of surprises lately! Two days ago, I decided to pull a MacGyver and decided to exit my crib all by myself. Mommy thought it was a fluke and decided to leave everything as it was. Well, this morning I did the same thing. Yup, she woke up to the sound of my feet hitting the ground. I was free for a moment until she rushed into my room. Daddy then wanted to know how I did it so he put me back in my crib. I threw my leg up over the rail and pulled myself right over. It took all of two seconds. Needless to say, my room is empty now. Brady proofed and I have a big boy bed. Who knew that Mom and Dad would react that way?

Last night I also got another big surprise. I got a HUGE box from my Unlce Mark and Aunt Cathy! Mommy and I begged Dad and he decided to let us open it up. Boy, was I in heaven! I got three really cool cars, a football, two fleece hoodies, and a handmade blanket! I was so excited about everything including the cool packing paper that came in the box. I played all night with my cars and actually went to sleep with the red one in my hands. Mommy let me take that one and my blanket to bed with me. Thank you all so very much.

Being that Daddy was in the mood to let me open things early, he let me open my letter from "Santa'! Yes, Santa sent me a letter! He even gave me some McDonald's money! He must really like me and he knows me well! I can't wait to get me a happy meal! Thanks "Santa"!

Oh, and last but not least, I got my annual ornament from Grandma Kaye. I loooooove it! Mommy loved it too! She hadn't seen that one anywhere and said that it was perfect! I added it to my collection. It is so pretty that Mommy hung it high on the tree so it would not get broke!

It's snowing!!!!!! Today was a very special day. I got to play in the snow for the very first time. I put on my boots, snowpants (they fit perfect Grandma), Lightning McQueen jacket, and gloves! This is the very first time I have willingly wore my gloves. It was cold out there! Daddy has to work late so he was able to enjoy the snow with us for a little bit this morning. I had soooo much fun.....until I got a face full of snow! Oh well, after that I tried not to fall forward. Heck, I tried not to fall at all. Mommy had be bundled up and I looked like a tick ready to pop. Mommy said if I was real good today that she would take me back out this afternoon!

We finally have our Christmas tree up! Of course, if you look closely, you will see that it is decorated from the midsection up. Mommy and Daddy are trying to keep me from breaking ornaments. Of course, more than 80% didn't make it on the tree this year for fear that I would destroy them. Oh well, at least it is up and lit.
