200th Post!!!

Sunday, November 30, 2008

Can you believe this is my 200th post!? It's hard to believe how quickly time has went by this past year. In celebration of my 200th post, Mom put the camera down and let me have a break from the flash. Don't worry though. She took PLENTY of pictures yesterday for me to share. I also got to try a new food today. Mommy let me have some of her Eggo Waffles. They were in the shape of legos and she let me have an entire block. I liked it!

Okay Dallas. I will count to 10 and you hide.

10! Ready or not Dallas....

...here I come!!!

Hmmm...he's not in the toy box.

He's not under the exersaucer.

I guess I can lick something instead.

How about my Great Grandma's cookie tin?

Oh yeah Grandma Kaye, I lick other things besides the walls, refrigerator, and oven. Tin is in!

Ooohh....Lickin' the piano is even better!

Come here Mom, let me lick that camera. It looks delicious!

Wardrobe Malfunction!

Friday, November 28, 2008

Today I had a wardrobe malfunction. Mommy has trouble finding pants (other than jammies) that actually stay up during the day now that I am on the move. Most of my pants pull down as I crawl or climb the stairs. Well, it happened today and Mommy thought it would be funny to document my embarrassing moment on film. I am sure it will be shared with any of my future ladies.

Starting to sag.....

And they're down....

This isn't going to keep me from playing!

Who cares if my pants are falling?

I am still a happy boy!

Happy Thanksgiving Day!

Thursday, November 27, 2008

Happy Thanksgiving Day again! I had to share some of my memories from today. I got to wear my turkey shirt again and I even helped Mommy cook a turkey! I am always so fascinated with watching Mommy cook and I always try to help her. Daddy even helped out. Daddy made the stuffing while Mommy and I did the turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, crescent rolls, and cookies. We were a busy little family today.

As for eating my turkey dinner, I didn't eat as much as my Mommy and Daddy. I did however try a crescent roll and I loved it. I had a couple of bites. Mommy thinks she has me figured out when it comes to solid foods. I won't eat anything unless I can hold it and take a bite out of it myself. So, there may be hope for me not having to have purees and soy packed in my lunch box when I start school.

I also got to play outside with leaves today. Daddy loves to take me outside to play. I got to sit on the grass and watch him crumple up leaves. I was so mesmerized. I always get a big smile on my face when the wind blows and it takes my breath away. I can't wait until I can go outside again!

Do you like my Turkey Day shirt?

I was just watchin' some football with Dad in the afternoon.

Checkin' on my toys! Notice how long my hair is getting!

What!? No soy on the Thanksgiving menu!

Big D better stay away from my turkey!

My first bite of turkey.

Okay, you want me to try this.

Hiding = no food being shoved in my mouth!

I'll just stick to my thumb. Yes, I am a thumb sucker.

I had to help Dad clean up after dinner. I love to hold on to the vacuum and be pulled around the kitchen.

Yay! Dad has leaves!

Those are some nice leaves over there Dad.

I like this one!

This one isn't bad but I think you can do better Dad.

The kitties wanted to come out and play too.

Are you having fun Dad?

Aaaaahh...I can't wait to get back in that swing!

Mom called us her big turkey and little turkey!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Good Morning Mommy!

Wednesday, November 26, 2008

I always greet my Mommy with a big smile when she comes to rescue me from my crib. I am so excited to see her that I can't contain myself. I do try to get a good little chew in on the rail though before she gets me out.

Where's the party?

Tuesday, November 25, 2008

Where's the party? Daddy told me that I was going to go to a party today. I think he was wrong. The only place I got to go was the doctor's office. I had to get the last part of the flu vaccine. He kept telling me to be excited because I was getting to go to a party. Well, I was duped and I quickly figured it out as soon as we walked in the lobby. The nurse thought it was cute that I had the look of fear on my face as soon as we got there. That's right, I finally put two and two together. Party = Doctor's Office. Boo!

Dad thought that I should wear a tie to my "party".

I wasn't diggin' the tie.

Mom decided that I should ditch the tie and wear some cool clothes.

Yup, it's another pirate shirt. I wanna be just like my cousin John Blue.

Always on the go! A flu shot can't keep me still!

Whew! I'm tired!

Monday, November 24, 2008

I seriously wore myself out today. I recently learned how to climb stairs and that is all that I want to do. Mommy says that it will firm my butt. I don't know what she is trying to tell me. The kitties aren't too happy with this new acquired skill of mine. They have no where to hide from me now. I am on the loose and I want to pet my kitties. ***Warning - Mommy took a ton of pictures today! ***

Can you tell that my house is my favorite toy right now?

Come here kitty, kitty, kitty!

I was in hot pursuit of the kitty.

Are you coming Mom?

Almost there...

Whew, climbing stairs is exhausting!

Hurry up Dallas, I need to go!

What!? I have to go back down the stairs!?

Okay, here I come!

Hmmmm...Pa Obie says that it cost a quarter each time I turn the lights on and off. Should I flip it?

I can't resist. Take my quarter!

The stairs got to me. I am a tired little peanut.

I think I am ready for bed Mommy.
