Call me Mr. Mischief!

Friday, January 30, 2009

You can call me Mr. Mischief. I have kept my Mommy and Daddy on their toes this past week. I am into everything. You name it, I have to get my hands on it. Who needs toys when you have so many goodies just laying around the house. Some of my favorite activities is trying to turn the lamp over, cleaning out the cabinets, and playing with the mouse that goes with Mommy's computer. I have to laugh when Mommy and Daddy says that it is going to get easier with me as I get bigger. You can tell they are both rookie parents!

Ha Ha! They thought they could hide the lamp! This one really gets my Dad going!

Let me out!

Walking with a mouthful of trix.

See, I am good some of the time. Can you believe how big I look here? Just think, I used to be afraid to even crawl through my kitchen!

I really try to be helpful. I thought Mommy could use some help cleaning out the cabinets.

I'm a jumping bean!

Thursday, January 29, 2009

I am full of all kinds of tricks this week. Today, I was the best little boy ever and took 3+ hour nap for my Mommy. After I woke up from my long nap, I greeted my Mommy by jumping up and down in my crib while holding onto the rail. I was laughing so hard that my Nana heard me on the phone. Mommy thought I was funny and called me her little jumping bean. Needless to say, I didn't take a second nap and I went full strength until bedtime.

I can dance!

Wednesday, January 28, 2009

I have a brand new trick. I can dance! I am still a little shy when it comes to busting out my moves though. I like to get behind my kitchen and cut a rug. Mommy has been trying to get my moves captured on film, but has been unsuccessful so far. I may let her video me soon and I am sure Mom will post it for you all to see. Mommy said that I could dance just like my Cousin John Blue.

Mmmmm...Mom let me have some Trix.

I was sneaking another handful of Trix.

I am sure a happy boy!

I am walking to my Mommy's arms!

Sorry Mommy...

Tuesday, January 27, 2009

I have got to tell you a story on me before my Mommy tells it on me. The other day, I had a big oopsie. While Mom was pouring formula for my bottles, I was getting into some trouble. I decided to drag a bag of potatoes over to the shelf thingy in the kitchen. I used it as my stepping stool to finally get my hands on some items that Mom had place out of my reach. I managed to grab a receipt under Mom's homemade gumball container. I pulled and the unthinkable happened. I pulled the priceless homemade gumball container over and it smashed all around me. Mom had a slight heart attack when she heard the horrible crash and she dropped a bottle. I got scared when she told me not to move a muscle, that I started to cry. Mom was almost in tears too because she thought I was going to be hurt when she got over to me. I was fine as a fiddle. The gumball thing, not so much. I hope my Mommy forgives me.

Here are some pictures left over from yesterday. Mom gave me a little break from the camera.

Mom tried to catch me doing my fish face.

Mom loves black and white pictures so she turns everything into black and white.

Another black and white picture.....

The results are in!

Monday, January 26, 2009

The results are in from my allergy tests. We got confirmation that I have a slight milk allergy, which Mommy and Daddy suspected. However, we got a little curve ball with the results. Apparently, I have a wheat allergy that ranked higher on the allergy scale than the milk. Who would have thought? Mommy has to call tomorrow to set up an appointment with an allergist who will help explain things a little more. Until then, Mommy is trying to do some research to figure out how she is going to feed me these days. The good news is the doctor said more than likely I will outgrow both allergies in a few years. Fingers crossed!

If you zoom in close, you can see my two new teeth on the bottom.

Yes, I am wearing my birthday shirt today. Mommy said that we could pretend it was my birthday!

What do you mean pacis are for babies?

Hanging out with Mommy

Sunday, January 25, 2009

Daddy had to work late again today so I got to spend the whole day with Mommy. Mommy likes to spend the day in the playroom. Some days, I think she enjoys my toys more than me! We laugh, make motorboat sounds, and eat Cheerios all day long! Mommy makes me laugh by giving me zerberts and she sings silly camp songs that she learned at 4-H camp when she was little. I am still perfecting my strut. I have improved tremendously over the last couple of days. I can know change directions and stop to regain my balance. Mommy is hoping that I am a professional walker by the spring time. She says that we are going to play outside all day long. I can't wait!

Mommy took these pictures a few days before I got my hair cut. You can really tell a difference.

Yup, that's right. Chicks dig me!

Look at my cheesy grin.

Mom and Nana got this shirt for me when Nana visited for my birthday. Can you believe it fits this well, Nana?

I like it!

Saturday, January 24, 2009

I like it! I really like my new haircut. It took me a little time to get used to it, but I really like it. Today was the first day that I was able to get up and not have my hair sticking all over my head. I am sure Mommy is going to miss my wild hair in the mornings. She always got a really good laugh at my expense.

I had to look at myself in the mirror to see what I had just done!

I think I look pretty good. So do you think I could pass for 13 or 14 months old?

Testing the hair after my first night sleep!

Well, at least Mom isn't laughing this time.

Look at me standing while I eat Cheerios.

I was trying to watch some cartoons this morning.

I think this is a nice aerial view of the new hair.

I got my first haircut!!!

Friday, January 23, 2009

Today I got my very first haircut! Mommy and Daddy took me to Kids Kutters to get a little trim. A very nice lady named Amy cut my hair. She did it so fast. I was such a brave boy for the most part. I got a little nervous and scared when she got out the clippers. This kind of put me on edge so when Amy brought out the hair dryer, I started to cry. I quickly pulled it together and we finished up my new look. Mommy and Daddy love my new hair cut. Mommy says that I am still her little boy!

I am so excited!

Thursday, January 22, 2009

I am so excited for my big day tomorrow. Daddy spilled the beans and told me what the surprise was that he has planned for me tomorrow. I am getting my hair cut for the very first time! Mommy was hoping that it would curl before we had to cut it, but it never happened. I have a stick straight mullet on my head. I have to say that I am a little nervous and I cried when I first heard the news. I was afraid that it would hurt. Daddy promised that it wouldn't hurt a bit. I hope he is telling me the truth!

What do you mean I have to get my hair cut?

How bad is it going to hurt Dad?

You promise you'll go with me Daddy?

Look at me walking up a storm!

Watch out world, I am walking and I am going to get a new haircut!

Another day, another dollar!

Wednesday, January 21, 2009

Another day, another dollar! I decided to give Mom a well deserved break today. I decided to sleep in until 9:15am and I took 2 really good naps for her. I know that she was thrilled. My first nap was from 11am until 2pmish! My second nap was only 1.5 hours but she was glad to see me get up because Daddy was home from work. Mommy said that Daddy was really wanting to play tonight. I must say that we had so much fun. I love when my Mommy and Daddy are both home. Dad told me that he is planning something special for me on Friday. I can't wait!

Helllllooooo camera!

Mommy loves when I actually smile for a picture.

Can you tell I have static in my hair?

I was a little zoned out. Getting up from naps are hard.

My signature "over the shoulder" look.

I'm pooped!

See you tomorrow! Bye-Bye!
