Brady Update

Friday, May 28, 2010

I just wanted to give everyone an update. I have been a sick little Peanut again. Mommy took me to the doctor this morning because I had been running a fever since yesterday. Tylenol would always bring it down but it would shoot back up between 102 and 104 as soon as the four hours were up between doses. Well, the doctor checked me real good and spotted an icky, inflamed throat. She tested it for strep and it came back negative. It is just a viral infection so it means I have to let it run it's course. I have spent the last couple of days lounging on the couch taking advantage of Mom. I have sent her on a dozen juice runs. Mommy and Daddy are taking good care of me so hopefully I will be able to get out of the house again soon!

Before my dose of Tylenol.....

After my dose of Tylenol......

At least I am a smiling, sick Peanut!

Cocoa Castle

Monday, May 24, 2010

Today I got to spend the afternoon in Hershey again! Today we went to a place called Cocoa Castle. Cocoa Castle is another playground in the township. It is different from any of the other ones we had been to this summer. This one was HUGE and was made of all wood. It was full of steps and ramps....kinda like a maze all the way to the top. However, the absolute coolest thing ever was the wooden car! I spotted her as soon as I came through the door and quickly took the wheel. I was in heaven. I spent a good 20 minutes pretending to drive all over the place. I had such a fun time there! I can't wait to take Daddy there to play one day. I think he would really like the car or zip line a lot.
This is a small part of the play structure. There was also another play structure that was a boat. Oh, and there was a sandbox which I didn't get to play in.

The metal slides were FAST!

Hanging is the cool new thing for all us toddlers to do.

My buddy Spencer and I getting wet and dirty!

THE awesome car!

I loved this steering wheel!

I am such a serious and cautious driver!

We loved making music!

We had no idea that Mom was watching us. Sneaky Mommy!

I was able to get some sweet air on this thing!

Spencer is a good jumper too!

Going crazy on the jumping bridge!

And it wouldn't be a day if I didn't have a little swing.

Hershey Park

Sunday, May 23, 2010

Mommy and I went to Hershey Park and boy did we have fun! I am one fearless little boy as long as my Mommy is right beside me. I did ride a ride all by myself though. I was such a big boy! My favorite ride of all was called the Frog Hopper. It raised you way up in the sky and hopped you back down. I squealed and laughed the entire time. Needless to say, we rode that ride about 5 or 6 times! I had such a good time at the park. Thank you Nana for the Summer Fun Money!

My reaction when Mom told me no shirt, no shoes, no service!

My very first SOLO drive....note that I chose the Patrol Car!

I was soooooo ready to ride the "Cool Car"........

Until I realized Mom wasn't beside me!

Brady loved duck watching!

He insisted on hoarding up as many kernels as he could find. Don't worry, he did feed the ducks....one kernel at a time.

There was so much for him to take in at a place like this.

This was moments before the scary face painted little girl. Boo on face painting!

I LOVED the carousel but I hated having to wait my turn!

This was moments before I told Mom that "I pee!"

I was soooo tired from a busy day with ZERO naps!

Mom thought I was admiring Nature's Beauty but I was really trying to figure out how to get in the fountain. There was a ton of money in there!

I was so ready to call it a day.......a really fun day!

Rain, Rain Go Away!

Sunday, May 23, 2010

Today I am supposed to have a very fun day.....if the rain cooperates. Mommy is taking me to Hershey Park to ride some rides and see the Imagination Movers in concert at the amphitheater. I am not a HUGE fan of The Imagination Movers but my good buddy Spencer is one. I loved the rides this past December so I am really going for the thrill of them. I have to be on my best behavior because Mom is flying solo with me because Daddy is working. So, go away rain!!!!

It's been a loooonnng week!

Friday, May 21, 2010

This has been the longest week ever! I am hoping to get you all caught up on my recen adventures real soon. This week I had my first all day playdate with Robbie, went to the zoo with Mom and Dad, and experienced the painting of the house!

Here are a few shots of the two rooms that were painted. Mommy will take more pictures when she has everything back in order. This will give you an idea of what it looks like!

Fort Hunter

Friday, May 14, 2010

Fort Hunter is a park that is spectacularly located on a bluff overlooking the Susquehanna and Blue Mountain. This park consists of about 50 acres. The park consists of ten historic buildings, two picnic pavilions, two sets of playground equipment and a play field. We spent most of our time at the playground equipment. I did make a mad dash for the covered bridge and almost ended up in the yucky water but Mom was quick to catch me. Needless to say, there were no pictures taken during that time. I played hard for about two hours and then I started to get tired.....which means I became a bit of a challenge to control. I am going through a phase where I want to throw tan bark and sticks. Mommy kept telling me know but I didn't listen. So, we had to pack it up and head home. I wasn't happy and I threw a MAJOR fit. Mom won in the end and I was asleep four minutes later. Maybe I should listen to Mom next time.

Awesome Park!

Sweet Brady

I was in awe of all the huge trees!

Still in awe....

A toddlers perspective -- pretty darn intimidating!

I LOVED the tunnels here!

I always have to try out the swings!

This was my reaction when my good buddy Spencer showed up!

Spencer had to convince me to "hang" around!

We are two little monkeys!

Going up the slide is way cooler than coming down!

This was moments before the tan bark throwing incident. I am INNOCENT!

I was serious about blowing bubbles!

I am the best bubble blower on the west shore!

A little tired....

My buddy Spencer....he is the best bubble blower on the east shore!

I was playing hide and seek with Spencer!
