Safety First!
Thursday, October 29, 2009
I am a silly boy. My newest obsession is hats. My favorite hat is my Cleveland Indians batting helmet. I love to wear it everywhere. Mommy decided to take me for a treat and we went to Burger King. Of course, I had to take my helmet being that Mommy was driving. Daddy even lets me take it in his car when we go for rides. I love my helmet! Safety first!

Taking over the house!
Wednesday, October 29, 2009
Today was a pretty calm day at the house. I spent the majority of it playing in my newly arranged playroom. Mommy decided to mix things up and she moved a few things around. We had a blast playing with all the toys I had forgotten about. Mommy said when we get the new floors put in the house, that I will probably do most of my playing on the lower level. I guess Daddy's man cave will be converted to Brady's World! I can't wait. I figure that on the wood floors I will be able to get some pretty good speed on all my cool rides. Despite the fun we were having, I wouldn't smile for the camera at all! Oh well, maybe I will smile for the camera tomorrow!

Humira Injection - Round 1.....FAIL!
Tuesday, October 27, 2009
I am sure most of you have heard that the first round of Humira loading doses were a FAIL. Yup, the med center messed up again. Mommy went in this morning only to find out that she had not had enough time since her last Remicade infusion to safely start the Humira. Her doctor was at a conference in California and unable to be reached. The makers of Humira recommended that she wait until at least 6 weeks after her last Remicade treatment and would not give their blessing. None of the other doctors in the clinic was willing to give the okay either. Therefore, we wait another two weeks until she can start the Humira journey. It's all good being that Mom is still on the Entocort. That should be enough to hold her over until the 10th of November.
Here are the pics Mommy promised of Daddy and I. We had such a fun time playing with them yesterday. We used a whole bottle of bubbles! I was a soapy mess when I came inside for the evening.

5 AM Wakeup Call!
Sunday, October 25, 2009
Well, I am doing a better job at sleeping through the night. However, I have gotten up at 5am for the last couple of mornings which has made for some long days. Thankfully, my whininess has became less and I have been a happier boy for most of the day. This is the main reason Mommy hasn't went bananas. Daddy is going to spend the next two days with me so maybe Mommy will get a little bitty break.

Capture York Update!!!!!
Saturday, October 24, 2009
I know everyone has been anxiously awaiting the news on whether or not Mommy's photos were selected to be part of the final Capture York book. Well, Mommy got a copy of the book yesterday and to her surprise............She had 11 photos published! Three photos were featured on a full page layout and 8 were part of the introductory collages to different chapters. The three full page photos were of tulips, me, and ME again!!! Her collage photos included more of me, Dallas, and a few random ones that were included in the everyday life chapter and the scapes of all sorts chapter.
If you thought that was awesome, wait to you read what else I am going to tell you. Mommy's black and white photo of me in my crib was selected as the People's Choice in the entire group of Friendly Faces submissions. Can you believe it!? She even gets a $100 gift card for this achievement. Mommy made me a star!!! I am going to be in coffee table books all over now! Another cool thing is that the book is actually being sold at the local Barnes and Noble stores in the area!
Mommy also wanted me to pass along her biggest thank you ever, to all those who supported her in this adventure. Mommy knows that your support helped her so much in the contest and she is very blessed to have such supporting friends and family. Thanks again!
Of course, Mommy wanted to take a few pictures of her photos to show you how they look in the book. I promise they look much better in the book. Oh, and there was a DVD included of selected photos and Mommy had a bunch more on it. She lost count after about 8 more of them.
Here is the cover of the book. It shows that the book is really a good quality book. Daddy was impressed with it!
Here is the first photo of me. At the bottom of each photo, there is a credit to the photographer and a title.
Here is the collage introduction to the Friendly Faces chapter. You can see me on the bottom row. Can you see me?
Mommy had two photos on this page. The cherry blossoms right below the title and the blades of grass right beside the title are the ones she submitted.
Here is her last big photo of the book. This was a picture of tulips that she took in early spring. They are actually from our neighbor Linda's yard! How cool!
This is the last collage that we are part of in the book. As Daddy said, Mommy owns the bottom row with four of the photos. They are the first, second, third, and fifth!

Pedi Visit!
Friday, October 23, 2009
Well, my night time shenanigans caught up with me. Mommy had enough after I kept her up from 1am -4am that she called the pediatrician as soon as we got up. We had an appointment in the afternoon and found out I am indeed teething. Yes, my Mom is officially one of THOSE Moms. You know, the ones who diagnose their children with multiple issues only to take them in to the germ infested pediatrician's office only to find out the issue is teething. Yup, you would think we hadn't ever teethed before! Seriously though, I have never had this much trouble with my teeth before. Apparently my incisors are still working their way completely through. The doctor did say that I was running a slight fever and I was indeed losing my voice. However, he said there was no infection present and that he thought he saw a little peek at my last set of molars working their way out. I wouldn't keep my mouth open long enough for him to positively confirm this though. The doctor said for us to keep an eye on things and if the fever gets worse to call. What a day, what a day!

Looooooong Day!
Wednesday, October 21, 2009
Today was another looooooong day. I think I pushed every single one of Mommy's buttons before 10am. I got Mommy up super early and refused to go back to bed. Mommy was exhausted so she laid in the floor in hopes that I would play and stop whining. Of course, I did the total opposite of what was expected and I snuggled up to Mommy and went to back to sleep for about an hour. Mommy is not sure what my deal is these days. I am not running a fever or showing any signs of a cold or ear infection. However, I am losing my voice. Who knows it may be a result of the crying and whining over the last couple of days. I am just not the typical Brady. Mommy said that if I am not acting better by tomorrow, she is going to take me to the pediatrician.
On a positive note....Mommy finally received her Humira. It came in the afternoon and it is chillin' in the refrigerator until Tuesday. Finally, we can get out and enjoy the beautiful weather tomorrow!!!
