Wild Hair Day

Tuesday, December 30, 2008

Today was a wild hair day. Mom took lots of pictures so you could see how wild it was this morning. We had to do some major work on it before we went to Party City to pick out my birthday party supplies. After much thought, we decided to go with Curious George as the theme. We thought it was a good choice being that Dad always brings me George stuff home. Mommy also calls me her little monkey because I like to climb on everything these days. I am soooooo excited for my big day.

What did you do to my crib!?

Monday, December 29, 2008

What did you do to my crib!? Mom took my bumper off yesterday and boy did it cause trouble with my good night's sleep! Mom had to come rescue me a few times during the night. I kept getting my arms and legs stuck in the crib slats. That will teach her to mess with my crib.

Uhhhhh...my legs are stuck!

My thighs seem to be what is stuck Mom.

This outfit was provided my my "Granny" Patsy! Thank you! Next time I see you, I will give you a bear hug!

Mom was making me laugh at my Little People Cow.

This is when Mom told me that we were out of meatballs!

Cheesing for the camera!

Sunday, December 28, 20008

Today I was cheesing it up for the camera. I figure that I might as well give up and give Mom a few pictures so she will put that darn thing away. Mommy and I decided to wait until Tuesday to pick out my party supplies so Daddy could go with us. I am excited and I bet Daddy will be too. Today I lost another part of my nursery. Mommy took the bumper off my crib because I decided to try and climb it. I guess it was a matter of time before I got caught trying to escape. I have to say that I kind of like it. I get to play with the wall which keeps me entertained for a good bit.

Daddy thinks it is time for me to get a hair cut.

I love my hot rod pig! Thanks Nana. Daddy loves how much noise he can make.

This is a nice shot of my pearly whites.

Mommy knows how to make me laugh everytime.

This is my signature look. I can get anything I want with this one!

Playing can be hard work.

Saturday, December 27, 2008

Playing can sure be hard work on a little boy. I have had so much fun the past few days playing with my new toys. Mom gave me a break from the camera today so she has a few pics of me playing left over from yesterday. Today I ate two bites of mashed potatoes for lunch and two meatballs for dinner. I am making progress. Mommy and I may go pick out birthday stuff for me tomorrow. I can't wait for my party.

Okay, so I took a little break to watch Sesame Street.

Mom quickly put me back to work vacuuming the floor.

I have to say, it was love at first sight with the Dusty the Vacuum.

Where is Aunt Cathy when I need a size 18 month shirt and 12 month pants!?

Can you tell the chair is a huge hit? I love Porter the Puppy.

What do you mean!?

Friday, December 26, 2008

What do you mean that Christmas is over!? I woke up this morning thinking that it would still be Christmas, but I was wrong. Today is not Christmas anymore. No more presents, Santa Claus, or stocking for an entire year. Oh well, I got to spend the morning with my Mommy and Daddy, playing with my box and cookie tin. Life is good!

What do you mean Christmas is over!?

I think I am just going to go back to bed.

What? Daddy's home!

Well, I guess I will get up.

Wow, I like Christmas!

Thursday, December 25, 2008

Wow, all I have to say is that I love Christmas. It was so much more than I ever expected. I started the day off by giving Mom and Dad a big present. I slept all through the night and Mommy finally came and got me out of bed at 10am. I wasn't crying. I was playing with each of my toys and entertaining myself. Honestly, I think Mommy and Daddy were more excited with the gifts opening party we had.

I was so very blessed this year. I got a couple of things from Santa and all of my family. My Aunt Cathy and Uncle Mark got me some cool outfits. I can't wait to wear them. My Granny Pat even sent me a "first" ornament and an outfit of clothes. They should fit me really good right now so I should have a picture soon. I finally got to open my other present from Grandma and Grandpa Kaye. It was the coolest tool bag ever and even came with all kinds of tools. It will go perfect with my tool bench. They also got me a "first" ornament as well. The Greats didn't forget me either. They sent me a "first" ornament and made a deposit into my college fund. Nana and Pa got me Elmo Live! Boy, does he talk. I couldn't stop staring at him. He is quite the character. Mommy and Daddy couldn't help but laugh at his jokes too. I got most of my other gifts from Nana and Pa when she came to see me earlier in the month. And last, John Blue sent me the coolest box I have ever seen and it just happened to have an awesome puppy chair inside. I sure do like that box!

Don't worry, Mommy and Daddy also surprised me with a few gifts as well. I must say, the gift that kept me mesmerized for most of the day had to be my vacuum. His name is Dusty and he is my very own vacuum. I always get so happy when Mommy or Daddy gets the big vacuum out and now I have my very own!

Oh, and I also have some VERY important news. I did get to see Santa. To every one's surprise, he came through the neighborhood around 5 pm. This was about 15 minutes after Daddy had put me in my crib for a nap. Mommy heard the sirens and I made the mistake of rolling over. Well, Mom seized the opportunity and hurriedly put my sweatshirt on so I could go see Santa drive by. Of course, I didn't get to pull his beard this time because he was on top of the firetruck. However, his helpers jumped out of the ambulance and gave me an orange and a scratch and sniff book. During all this, I have to say that I was scared poopless. The sirens and horns on the firetruck and ambulance scared me to death, not to mention the flashing lights. I cried a teeny bit when Santa's helper gave me my present. For the rest of the night, when I would hear the sirens and horns, I almost started crying. I think I may be scarred for life. Thank goodness this only happens once a year!

Merry Christmas!

Where's Santa?

Wednesday, December 24, 2008

Okay, so Dad made a mistake. Santa, we think, came yesterday during my nap time. At least, I was being a good boy so maybe Santa forgot about my lollipop pic. I had to go to bed extra early tonight so Christmas would hurry up and get here. I am so excited for Christmas!

Where is Santa already? I am ready for a nap!

What!? He came yesterday!

I feel robbed! What a rip off! You made me put this hat on and everything!
