First Day of Preschool

Today was my first day of preschool! I absolutely LOVED it! Mommy asked what my favorite part of the day was and I quickly replied snack time. It's true. I love snack time but I also had so much fun meeting new friends and learning new things. I got to fingerpaint my first day too. I am sure glad that I have been practicing this summer. I can't wait to go back! PS....no one (including Mom) shed any tears! Total success!

HersheyPark Happy.....again!

Well, I got to enjoy a fabulous day at Hershey Park with my new lady friends! Yep, I was totally outnumbered 6 to 1. I have to say that I didn't mind and I had a blast with my new friends. Of course, my favorite neighbor ever was there too.....Linda. The biggest highlight of the day is that I actually got my face painted! Last year, I was simply terrified at the sight of anyone with a painted face and I would never, ever consider it. Well, today I totally gave in to peer pressure and joined Kayla, Lily, and Bella when they got their faces painted. I immediately chose a dog and boy did I have fun pretending to be a dog the rest of the day!

Can you believe I am almost 3.5 years old!? Time sure flies when you are having fun! Let's just say that I have my fair share of it these days. I can't say that there is ever a dull moment in my little world. I sure have a lot to be thankful for these days!

Let me tell you.....a summer cold can't keep me down! Despite my nose running like a faucet, I still managed to show excitement and enthusiasm for the great outdoors. I helped Mommy pick weeds, I watered all her plants with my spray bottle (Thanks Kate for that idea), practiced numbers and my weekly speech words, and road my truck until it ran out of gas. I had such a good day! Oh, and my favorite neighbor Linda came over and pushed me in my swing AND caught lightning bugs with me! I was so excited when I saw her that I went running across the yard squealing her name.

Thanks again, Nana! I LOVE Blue Thunder more than you can ever imagine!

I love Swim Sundays with Bobbie!!!! I don't know what it is about him but I get so stinkin' excited when we are together. I had to miss last swim lesson because of the horrible storms that came through, so needless to say, I was ready to jump back into things. I did a really good job and so did Bobbie! We have come such a long way. Mommy's going to help me practice really hard this week in Linda's pool so I can WOW Miss April next lesson. Oh, and Mommy did take a video of some of my moves but she can't download it from her phone. She needs to google "How To" so I can show off my mad skills!

My goodness....I almost forgot to tell you about my playdate with the cute blonde that has been trying to get up with me. After dinner on Sunday, Mommy let me play in the backyard with her and her neighbor. Madison and Zak told us that my house is known as the "Fun" house because my Mommy and Daddy are always outside playing with me. Duh, I am only three. They have to play with me or I will run clear to the other end of the cornfield if they don't watch me. I had a blast with my new friends and I am hoping I can play with them again real soon! This neighborhood is becoming more fun by the day!

Today was a scorching hot day! Daddy and I did a lot of work on the outside of the house. I then got to come inside and cook my own dinner. I made popcorn chicken and fries. Of course, I let Mommy help me out. After dinner, we decided to hang out on the patio. I finally took a few licks off a popsicle. I can't say that I loved it but I did enjoy it somewhat. I took about a dozen little licks and I was done. Oh well, it's a HUGE start for me on trying new things!

Well, today is my buddy Spencer's actual birthday. We were so lucky that his Mommy agreed to let him come to my house and spend the day with us. We also invited Hayden and his Mom over too. Let me tell you.....I had a blast. I must confess that my Mom is pretty awesome too. She got up super, duper early and let me help her make cupcakes and a GIANT cupcake for Spencer. She also made my very favorite lunch, which of course is PIZZA. Yummy! After lunch, we got to tear into the huge cupcake and blow out Spencer's candle. I think this was one of the best playdates so far! Thanks so much to Spence and Hayden for coming all the way over here to play with me. I can't wait until the next one!

Today was my buddy Spencer's 3rd Birthday Party! His Mommy and Daddy decided to throw the celebration at the local bowling alley. It was my first time bowling and I must say that I did have a great time. I had so much fun that Mommy and Daddy are taking me to bowl with my pal, Hayden! I am so excited to give it another whirl! I think I was pretty good.

Today I got to play soccer with my buddy Hayden and visit a park with him. It was so pretty outside so we wanted to take full advantage of some family time with the Hatt family. We had a blast. I don't think we have laughed that hard in a long, long time. I can already tell that this summer is going to be the best one ever!!!!!

Yesterday we celebrated Valentine's day with 8 of my friends. We had such a good time playing together at Nina's house. She was so very nice to allow us to "party" there. Nina's mommy also made some yummy cool, valentine's day-inspired treats. My Mom, being that she is not the greatest in the kitchen, volunteered to plan some fun crafts for me and my friends. It was an awesome time!
