Hanging out in Cleveland!

Saturday, February 28, 2009

I am still hanging out in Cleveland. I got to spend the day hanging out with my Grandma and Grandpa Kaye. I also got to spend the afternoon with my Uncle Mark and Aunt Cathy. Uncle Mark and Aunt Cathy saved the day and brought a ton of batteries for my Elmo. I was a little shy with my dancing but I did break out a few moves by the end of the night. I had Mommy, Grandma, and Grandpa dancing with me. Tonight I went to sleep like a big boy. Less than 5 minutes, and I was out like a light. I think I surprised Mommy and Grandma by being such a good boy. I only had two short naps during the day. One on my Mommy and for the other one, I cuddled up with my Aunt Cathy. I think we are going to be driving back home in the morning. Mom already promised me $1 for each nap I take on they way home. I'm gonna get that wagon before you know it!!!!

I'm in Cleveland!

Friday, February 27, 2009

After a bunch of hours, I am in Cleveland. I did pretty good on the drive here. Daddy let us stop half way at a service plaza so we could eat some tay-tos for lunch. They were pretty good tay-tos and I gobbled up a bunch of them. I was a little shy when we arrived but Grandma Kaye quickly won my heart with a teddy bear. She had me laughing and before you knew it, I was running around this place like I owned it. My Uncle Mark and Aunt Cathy were here to see me too. We had such a fun time. Uncle Mark made me puke. The astronaut ride was worth it though. Aunt Cathy makes a great substitute for my Mommy. Mommy had to leave the room and she scooped me up and I was asleep in no time. The nap was very short and my battery didn't officially die until 10pm. I sure didn't give up without a fight though. I gave everyone a run for their money but I finally surrendered right around 10pm.

Ready or not....

Thursday, February 26, 2009

Ready or not, here I come Cleveland!!! That's right. I am going to be leaving first thing in the morning to go see my Grandpa and Grandma Kaye! I am so excited. Mommy promised that she would have everything packed ready to go when I wake up in the morning. I told her not to forget Ellie, my orange blanket, or my Yo Gabba DVD. What more does a boy need!?

Check out this drool shot. I am so proud of this one!

See, I still have my chubby cheeks!

I was in the middle of a wild kitty cat call here.

I have been practicing my shape sorting skills.

I get frustrated easy. The star can be so tricky!!!

I am getting packed up!

Tuesday, February 24, 2009

Today I have been a very busy boy. I am trying to get all packed up to go see my Grandma and Grandpa Kaye this weekend. We are going to leave after Mommy's doctor appointment on Friday. I am so excited! Oh, I sure hope that my Uncle Mark and Aunt Cathy stop by to play with me. I have some many new tricks to show them. I learned two new tricks today. Mommy taught me how to give a "high five" and I also had sweet success with my shape sorter. I must say that I am getting pretty good at almost all the shapes except for the darn triangle and diamond shape. Mommy said that we could practice some more tomorrow. I spent a good 45 minutes playing with it tonight. When I would get a shape in, Mommy would scream yay and give me a high five. We have so much fun during the day!

Meet my new friend. His name is The Cat in the Hat.

We like to watch Yo Gabba Gabba and eat Cheerios.

Uuuhhmm....excuse me Mom! Can I help you?

The Cat in the Hat just asked me if I liked green eggs and ham. What is he talking about!?

Mommy bought me my first snack trap. I guess you can tell by the picture what I really thought about it. Nana, I know that you will spot my passive aggressive behavior!

Sippy Success?

Monday, February 23, 2009

Could we have sippy success? Maybe.....or it could be my new teether. I was a silly boy today with my sippy. Mom has been trying to get me to drink this crazy stuff called juice. I think the pictures show exactly what I thought of the juice and the sippy.

My face says it all......

I am still not sure about this.

This sippy cup drinking is exhausting.

Juice makes me happy.

When I am happy, I like to smile.

Cha-Ching!

February 22, 2009

Cha-ching! I earned $1.25 today. Yup, that is the most I have ever earned!!! I slept through the night and I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Mommy was so proud of me. I normally do pretty good for lunch and dinner but I never want to eat breakfast. Today I tried some Aunt Jemima Pancakes and I liked them! I also surprised Mom by drinking out of my sippy cup. Mommy says that I am growing up way too fast.

Pssst, Kitty..............I'll help you out if you give me some of those Cheerio looking things you eat all the time.

Rats! The kitty said no way.

Yeah, you'll change your mind kitty. Just you wait. You'll need me when I learn to open the refrigerator.

Check out my $1 jammies that my Mommy found the other day. They have a snowman on them and they glow in the dark. Too cool!

I am in the Yo Gabba Zone right now.

Can you tell I was waiting for the kitty to come back through the pet door?

Oh, and this is my new trick. I can stand straight up without pulling up on anything. I am getting so strong!

Million Dollar Smile

Saturday, Februaury 21, 2009

I was such a good boy today. I earned my quarters for lunch and dinner. I ate more meatballs than I have ever eaten. Mommy was so excited and proud of me. I am getting closer to my wagon everyday! I even smiled for the camera today. I told Mommy that I should get a quarter for every smile that I give her. I still haven't heard back on that one. I think I have a million dollar smile so a quarter is quite the bargain.
