Update on Mommy....

Wednesday, March 31, 2009

Today was Mommy's Remicade infusion. I got to stay with Daddy while Mommy and Nana went to the infusion center for her treatment. Well, I got to hang out with Dad a little longer than we expected.....Mommy had some reactions during her infusion again. She had trouble breathing (different feeling than last time) and got really flushed. They had to stop the infusion and restart it at a slower pace so it took a lot longer than we expected. As soon as they stopped the infusion, she was totally fine. The nurses reassured Mommy that there was nothing to worry about and that it was safe for her to finish up her medicine at a really slow pace. I am so glad that she was okay and is back home so she can play with me. She slept most of the evening so I am hoping that we can go for wagon rides all day tomorrow.

Mommy didn't get to take pictures of me today but she did take some pictures of the tulips that Nana bought her for being a brave girl today. Nana even let me chip in on them and give them to Mommy. She loves tulips!

I got my WAGON!!!

Monday, March 30, 2009

I finally got my wagon! Oh, and she is a beauty. Mommy and Nana are such pushovers and they let me ride in her. I have to say that she has a smooth ride and is quite the comfy ride. Way more than I expected! Mommy decided to test out the wagon in the house. She took me for laps around the living room and the kitchen. I had a blast. I took George and Brobee with me on my first ride. Oh, and I also took my hammer and sippy cup. I tell you, there is so much room in that wagon! I am hoping that Daddy will pull me around the house tomorrow. Mommy and Nana have to go to Hershey for her infusion. I hope that it goes well and that Mommy can play with me when she gets back home.

This was after one of the many trips around the house.

I was ready to go!

Notice my serious face and my grip on the wagon!

I love to look around when we go for walks.

I kept my serious face for most of the ride. You can see my friends in this picture. George is wearing the jammies that my Aunt Laura got me when I was a little baby. Mommy liked them so much that she put them on George!

My First Happy Meal!

Sunday, March 29, 2009

Today I got my first Happy Meal! Mommy and Nana went to check on my wagon and they brought me home a Happy Meal! I have been to McDonald's before but I have never had my very own Happy Meal. I had so much fun playing with the box. I ended up eating a few of the french fries and I tried a nugget but I was too excited with everything going on my house. Nana and Mommy told me that I was going to get a big suprise tomorrow. They have been working on something that they won't tell me about. I can't wait to see what they have been up to this whole time!

I acted shy when I first saw Nana.

Of course the shyness didn't last too long. I was hanging out with her in no time.

Thanks guys....You gave me a box. Swell!

Oh....it's a happy meal! I have heard about these!

I had to give it the Brady Kaye inspection before I opened it!

Nana, where are you!?

Saturday, March 28, 2009

Nana, where are you? Mommy and Daddy told me that Nana would be here after I go to sleep tonight and that I will be able to play with her in the morning. Mommy tucked me into bed at 8pm sharp and got ready to go find Nana at the airport. I wonder if she flew in a plane that looks like my little people airplane? If so, it is really nice and I bet she had a safe flight. I can't wait until in the morning!!!

This is Mommy's new favorite picture of me. She says that I looks so sweet and innocent!

Just passing the time....

Friday, March 27, 2009

I am just passing the time until my Nana gets here. She is supposed to get here tomorrow night after I go to bed. I have to say that I am pretty excited to see her. Nana hasn't seen me run around like a crazy person yet. The last time I saw my Nana was when I had my big birthday party. It has been too long! Pa, thank you so much for letting us borrow Nana. I know that Mommy is going to feel much better having her here to help out. She has a busy week and I am quite the handful these days. Mommy has her infusion on Tuesday, dentist appointment on Wednesday, and her bone density test on Thursday. So get ready Nana......you are going to be having fun with me all week!!!! I have all my toys ready to go and my backyard is waiting!

I am serious about my veggie sticks. I need just a little more money for my wagon!

I thought if I shoved more in my mouth that Mom may double my quarter.

See, I do sit still every now and then!

I love reading books now. I have finally decided that I don't need to eat them.

All done! I need to read another book!

Rain rain go away...

Thursday, March 26, 2009

Rain rain go away,

Come again another day.

Little Brady wants to play!

All I wanted to do was go outside for a little bit.

How cool is it that you can see my reflection in the glass!?

My sad face couldn't even convince Mom to let me play in the rain.

My reflection sees you again!

Oh yes.....these legs got three toots from cars passing by today. I also decided to wave at everyone that walked or drove by the house. The UPS man is my favorite. He gave me two beeps!

Wild Hair Day!

Wednesday, March 26, 2009

Well, today I had another wild hair day. Mommy said that she didn't think any ones hair is wilder than mine. It was literally sticking straight up in the back. Mommy tried to tame it down with some water, but it popped right back up after about 15 minutes. I guess that I better hope the Easter Bunny brings me some hair products.

What!? This hippo doesn't even have cup holders!

What do you mean that I am trying to ride the hippo backwards!?

This shows the nice height that my hair had this morning.

Another flattering angle for my hair.

I'm just mounting my zebra......

Zebra Riding is fun!

Make sure you get my good side Mom.

This picture really doesn't need any words.

I love to eat my veggie sticks.

Whew. Another hard day's work!

A day of firsts....

Tuesday, March 24, 2009

Today was a day of firsts for me. It was such an exciting day. Here is a list of my firsts for the day:

  • I had my first Golden Oreo Stick. Let's just say that this also included my first sugar buzz. I couldn't sit still in my exersaucer. I was jumping like a mad man!
  • I dug my first hole in the neighbor's landscaping. Forget the sandbox Dad, just fill it up with mulch!
  • I got to pet my first puppy dog. The neighbor had his dog out with him and I got to pet him on the head. Don't worry. I didn't pet him like I pet Big D.
  • I walked the length of the yard without falling for the first time! I was really showing out for my neighbor who came over to talk to my Daddy.
  • I pooped in the bath tub. Mommy and Daddy really enjoyed this first!
It was a busy day for me to say the least. I hope that tomorrow is just as exciting as today!

Look at my hair blowing in the breeze!

Hurry up Dad!

What is that stuff!?

Look at this rock Dad! Wow. I have never seen a rock this big!

This stuff is nice too. I can do a lot of damage here. I guess it is a good thing Linda works late and won't catch me in her landscaping!

Hey! Don't take pictures Mom! That could be used as evidence!

I think I will just make myself at home.

Daddy was playing baby monkey and getting the critters out of my hair.

Born Free!!!!

I am running wild!

Outdoor Adventures....

Monday, March 23, 2009

Outdoor adventures......starring Brady Kaye as Plex and Daddy as Daddy! I get so excited when my Daddy comes home. He lets me run wild outside and explore the backyard. We have such a good time. Mommy even comes out to join us. Mommy and Daddy try to get me to play ball out there but all I want to do is walk all around the yard. I ran around so much yesterday, I tuckered myself out. Mommy thinks that the outdoor adventures is what is making me sleep in until 9:30 am every day. Little does she know, I am just trying my best to up my wagon fund. She has been giving me a dollar every time I sleep in late! I only have $4.20 to go! I am gonna get my wagon soon!

It doesn't take me long to get going outside. I am off to the swing!

Uh-oh. I fell down or am I just doing push ups?

Look at the determination in my face. I also had a cool leaf in my hand.

Uh-oh again. I definitely can't hide the fact that I fell.

Aw. Look at my Daddy cheering me on!

I think I can....I think I can....

Yay! I finally made it to Dad!

Just a little bit to go.

I made it!

Whew...I need a little bitty rest.

I had to wait for Mommy and Daddy to clean off my swing. Those darn birds pooped on it again!

I have to say that my shoes look really good in this picture.

I had to make sure that my swingset was holding up and was sturdy enough to hold me.

Apparently, Dad forgot that DJ Lance Rock from Yo Gabba says that you need to keep your hands to yourself unless you are giving hugs or high fives. He wasn't doing either! I guess I am going to make him watch Yo Gabba all day on his off day this week!

Wow! Can you believe I walked all the way to the field by myself! I am getting pretty good at this walking gig!
