Shank Park

Monday, May 10, 2010

What a way to start my week!!! A new park and old friends. Today Mommy and I got to explore a park called Shank Park. We met with our meet-up group and had a blast. There was a pretty good size turnout for this one. It is always more fun when lots of kids are running around. This park is in Hummelstown and only minutes away from Hershey. It is nestled back in the woods so if it wasn't for the meet-up group, we would have never found this place. This park has a total of 90 acres and is the township's largest park. There is a ton of baseball fields up there and Mommy said one day I can play on them when I am bigger.

This park was so much fun! There was lots of shade so it will be nice in the summer months!
