Bye Bye Stella!

Monday, July 7, 2008

Today is Mommy's big day for surgery. We are very happy to finally say goodbye to Stella. Stella is Mommy's stoma and she will be returning home today (back in Mommy;s tummy)around 8am. Mommy is so excited that her long, hard journey is almost over. I hope Mommy gets to come home soon. I miss her. Daddy is going to take me to see her this evening and I can't wait.

Mommy got a new camera and these are a few pictures that she took over the holiday weekend. I hope you like them. I think that I look pretty good (especially my hair), but Mom says she needs to photoshop a few of them.

Like Father, Like Son!

Sunday, July 6, 2008

I guess you could say that Daddy is one of my biggest heroes. I want to be just like him when I grow up. I like to watch TV with Daddy and I love to read the paper. Mommy says that I look just like Daddy. What do you think?

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Saturday, July, 5, 2008

Happy Birthday Daddy! Today is my Daddy's birthday. He is turning the big 3-0! Mommy took Daddy out to Benihana's to eat and they had a great time. Tomorrow we are going to have cake and blow out a candle. I am excited because I have never seen an actual birthday cake before. Mommy may let me sneak a little taste of icing. I will have lots of pictures to post tomorrow.

I have to show you my pajamas. They are out of this world. I still spend several minutes just staring at the spaceships and aliens on them. I must say, they are pretty loud to sleep in but I love to wear them.

Check out my shoes!

Friday, July, 4, 2008

I forgot to tell you about the cool shoes that my Grandma and Grandpa Kaye brought me. Even though they are a little big, I still like to wear them when I am in the jumperoo. They are Nikes so I believe that the do give me some more air in the jumperoo. If Coach Crenell doesn't call me soon, maybe Nike will offer me a job.

What!? Nana and Pa are on their way?

Thursday, July 3, 2008

My goodness, I have been so busy lately. I am hosting my other set of grandparents this week. Nana and Pa are on their way. I think it takes Pa about 12 days to get here according to my Daddy. Daddy says that Pa is a law abiding man and only does the speed limit. I wish they could just throw the pedal to the metal and get here tonight because I am so excited to see them again. Pa and Nana are going to stop somewhere near Roanoke and drive the rest of the way in the morning. I really think they are trying to get out of my early morning soy call and they heard that I have been leaving surprises in my diaper for the early shift as well. I was busy getting all my soy and toys together today, so we didn't have a lot of pictures. However, I did get some more shots of my new luscious locks!

Peanut - The early months.

Wednesday, July 2, 2008

Mommy wanted to take a look back at the last 6 months being that my 1/2 birthday is right around the corner.

My first photo shoot (around 20 weeks in the belly)

This is my coming home picture. What were they thinking putting me in this outfit!

This shot is around the 1 month mark and also was the first time I got to visit Mommy in the hospital.

Two months and still visiting Mom in the hospital.

Three months and I am showing off my belly. This is one of Mommy's favorite pics.

I am looking healthy at my 4 month appointment.

Look at me. I was the big 5 months in this shot.

Mommy is so excited to get my 6 month pictures. Unfortunately, it will be another shot of me visiting her in the hospital. Mommy is finally going to have her big surgery on July 7th, the day before my 1/2 Birthday. I think I may talk her into letting me celebrate it early. My Daddy is turning the big 3-0 (on July 5th) and I think we could have it all on the same day. Please say a prayer for my Mommy and her surgery. I want her to get better soon because we just started having so much fun together and I have become quite the handful. My Nana and Pa are coming to help out for a little bit and Nana will stay until I can take care of Mommy myself. In the meantime, I will be spoiled by all the attention and love!

I hope you enjoyed my little walk down memory lane.

Don't pass me the turkey!

Tuesday, July 1, 2008

Today was a big day. Mommy and Daddy wanted me to try turkey for the first time. They went on and on about how good it was and how there is a day where you eat lots of turkey for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I think they called it Thanksgiving Day. Needless to say we were super excited and disappointed in the course of 1 minute. I have to say that I am NOT a fan. Even after taking three bites (my Aunt Laura's rule), I was not convinced turkey was for me. We will give it a try again tomorrow but I am a little bit skeptical.
