I was trying to convince Grandpa to let me down the stairs. It didn't work.

Aunt Cathy blowing out her birthday candles!

Isn't my Aunt Cathy pretty!

Uncle Mark and I....anxiously awaiting some cake!

Hey guys....don't forget me!

I was mad that Uncle Mark made me get out of his seat. He didn't call it back so I helped myself!

Uh.....you want me to eat cake........

NO WAY!!!!!

My very special friend Olivia! It was love at first sight.....at least for me!

Come on Baby......what do I have to do for a smooch!?

Of course, I had to make sure that the booster seat met all safety requirements.

I was watching Grandpa shovel snow. I sooooo wanted to be out there with him!

I am cool even if my glasses are upside down!

I loooooove to play in the snow. I was begging Mommy to go outside.

I like to lick glass.

I was practicing Shhhhhh here.

See, I have some UK blood in me!

Got Snow?

Thursday, February 11, 2010

Welcome to the Blizzard of 2010! Got snow? We have just a little. Today I went outside to play in the massive piles of snow. Daddy and Mommy finished shoveling the driveway and I basically stood there. I was enclosed in a play pen made of snow! It was crazy! I had lots of fun and cried when it was time to come inside.

Whoa! Too much snow!

Sunday, February 7, 2010

Whoa! I asked and hoped for snow but I didn't need this much! It started snowing on Friday night and kept snowing and snowing and snowing. It is so deep that Daddy didn't think it was a good idea to take me out yet. There are snow drifts over three feet high in some places. It is nuts! I have to say that it is absolutely beautiful. Until it melts down a little, I have been enjoying some really fun snow days. Mommy and I baked cookies. I ate cookies. I ate more cookies. Oh, and Daddy got me to try a piece of pizza crust. Other than that, Mommy has let me watch Yo Gabba again. I have watched it so many times that I can pretty much act out any given part of the episode that features Jack Black. I do everything along with the episode. Mommy was amazed.

Oh, and BIG news Grandma Kaye!!!!!! I can say "ALL DONE" and raise my arms up! I am still practicing so everyone will know what I am saying without Mommy having to translate. Mommy was soooooo excited when I repeated it after her. Now, when I want to get down out of my high chair, I raise my arms and say Ah Du (All Done)! Thanks for helping me with that one Grandma!

Our mailbox is almost covered!

My summer cottage must have a strong roof to hold all that snow!

Uh, Mom......where's my sand box?

My swing set looks normal with all the snow. Anyone that has tried to get in the swings on my swingset can really understand how deep the snow is here!

Snow is on the way!

Thursday, February 4, 2010

I am anxiously awaiting our big snow that we are supposed to get. Daddy promised that if we got snow, he would let me play outside for a little bit on Saturday. Mommy said that she would join us and we could make our first snowman if it snowed enough. I can't wait!

So I guess you have been wondering what I have been up to lately. Well, I am practicing football and soccer drills. I love when Mom hikes the ball to me. I have so much fun. I also like to kick the ball and try to catch it. Oh, and Mommy is trying to teach me how to dribble. She said that I am going to be some kind of ball player when I get big!

Before Mommy tells everyone I figure I might as well tell you. I am definitely a mini me of my Daddy. I am only two years old and I am making up my own rules. Yes, it has been witnessed and confirmed by Mom and Dad that I am a rule maker. Mommy first noticed when I would beg to get in my high chair. When she takes the tray off I immediately run to the doorway and wait patiently with my hands on my sides and stand on the wood transition to the kitchen. Daddy asked me who made up that rule. Mommy laughed and told him like father like son! I also have to stand on the number seven on my playmat when I throw the football to Mommy....another little rule that I have made up to follow.

You may notice that Mommy has been slacking on posting pictures lately. Well, she got a new toy for her camera and she has been trying to figure it out. She finally splurged on a Speed Lite with the money she got from the Capture York project. She also collected points from a site called mypoints and was able to get another $50 code for amazon. So, she is now able to take photos all night long! She still has a lot to learn so I am sure that the pictures will definitely start popping up a little more.

Just being goofy in Daddy's shoes!

I have spent the last week with my hands in my mouth! When will this teething thing be over!?

As you can see, I am thrilled with the new Speedlite!

Football!

As you can tell, I really love to wear my Daddy's shoes.

My new favorite toy -- a piece of cardboard!

My very first Valentine's Day cookie!

I couldn't believe Mom let me have the whole thing!

I love to climb on the furniture!

This is what I do when Mom pulls the camera out.

Mommy still loves to dress me in striped. At least this one says Future Rockstar on it.

Big Boy!

Monday, February 1, 2010

Today I am officially sitting at the table like a big boy. I love to have all my snacks sitting in the BIG chair all by myself. Mommy has decided to trust me a little and not sit right beside me anymore. I can get up and down all by myself. I am such a big boy these days!
