New Park with Mommy

Wednesday, October 13th, 2010

A new park with my Mommy today. We had fun but I quickly realized that parks are not nearly as fun without a friend to play with you. It's just not the same. I walked around and played a little here and there and would yell out, "Bobbie R you?" On a positive note, we found a HUGE park that i am sure Mommy and Daddy will take me back to visit again. There was nature trails, three playgrounds, and even a dog park. It was a beautiful area!

Soccer - Round 2

Tuesday, October 12, 2010

Soccer days are my favorite days! Mom decided to let me try to push through soccer today despite the icky sickies I have been fighting. I wasn't contagious at that point so she thought it may do me some good to get out of the house. I did really well but I did start coughing up a storm after running around. Everyone was super impressed with me because I really did do a great job even though I had been under the weather. Oh, and the best news of all.....My friend Hayden joined us today. He did a really good job too and I am so glad that our little program is starting to grow each week!

Sick Peanut

Saturday, October 9th, 2010

This sick peanut is heading to the doctor today. Mommy thought I had a simple cold but during the night I scared her a little with my breathing. I started to wheeze and breathe harder than usual. To be on the safe side, Mommy took me in and they worked us right in immediately. The doctor then did the look over and decided that I was wheezing and that he thought I had a combination of a cold and a respiratory infection/inflammation. With both of those things, it was hard for me to breathe which made it impossible for me to rest. So, the doctor sentenced me to nebulizer treatments for the next little bit. Great. Let me tell you....pure torture for me and Mommy. I have a followup on the 21st and hopefully I will be 100% again!

Fun Fort

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

There is not too many things in life that are worth every single penny. I have found the bargain of the season. It's a little place called Fun Fort. Fun Fort is located at Paulus Farm Market over in Mechanicsburg. They have taken two of their greenhouses and turned it in to fun, fun, fun for the kids. How much does this fun cost? Sit down....it's only $2 and you can play all day! There really is so much to do there. They have a maze made out of hay bales. There is also spring horses, sliding boards, animals, tractors, and swings. They even have a big box full of soy and corn kernels.....so much better and cleaner than sand! There is really a ton that you can do there. Seriously, this is definitely one of my most favorite places we have visited yet!

Popcorn Hat Players

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

What are the Popcorn hat Players? Let me tell you about them. They are a theater group that does plays for the younger crowd. Spencer and his Mommy was so very kind to invite us to go to one of their shows. I have never been to a play or even a movie, so this was big stuff. It was also my first time in the city. I must say that both Spencer and I were very good. We managed to sit through the entire play with a couple of breaks. Luckily, it wasn't too long and it was Aladdin....so it was a good story. I do have to confess that the best part of the outing was the parking garage, escalator, and elevator. We giggled like crazy the whole time we were finding a spot in the garage. It was such a fabulous day with one of my favorite friends. A big, big thank you to Spencer and his Mommy for taking us along with them on this adventure.

I'm a Soccer Player!!!!!

Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

I am officially a soccer player. I joined a Little Kritters Soccer Program that my buddy Robbie has been participating in the previous weeks. I was immediately excited about this little adventure for the simple fact I get to see "Bobbie". I guess running around like crazy and kicking a ball is also a plus for it. We had a blast playing today. I think I shocked Mommy and Daddy with how into it I seemed. Of course, we are 2 so you can imagine for every sec of focus....there was many unfocused ones. All in all, it was a GREAT day!

Great Kentucky Memories

Friday, October 1, 2010

I made some great Kentucky Memories. Every single moment was jam-packed with something. I got to walk Nozzle everyday, visited my Pa Obie's grave, met my cousin Addison, got to see my Great Granny, had lunch with my Granny Nanny Pat and my Papaw Watts, hit up a playground, fed bones to the dogs, and spent the afternoon laughing with my Nana's neighbors. It was absolutely a fabulous trip. I swear I think I could have stayed another couple of weeks.
