Look at the shirt that my Mom and Nana got me at the hospital about a month ago. It is a Life Lion shirt. Life Lion is the name of the helicopter that flew Mommy from Holy Spirit Hospital to Hershey Medical Center when she was sick. While Mommy was is the hospital for her last surgery, the flight crew and flight nurses were selling t-shirts. Mommy and Nana had to buy me one even though it was a little big. The crew was so happy to see Mommy doing so much better. They even gave Mommy a stuffed helicopter to give to me. Mommy says this is a reminder of how far we have both come and all that we have to be thankful for in our lives. Thank you Life Lion for helping my Mommy get better.

Today my Nana and Pa went home to Kentucky. I am going to miss them so much. Mommy told me that we will get to see them before I know it. I really liked meeting all my family for the first time. I hope that I can come visit soon.

Today's wardrobe was brought to you by John, Laura, and John Blue Barnett. I think it fits pretty good even though it is 9 months. I must be a big boy!

Today is my 7 month birthday! Mommy and I are back in Pennsylvania with Daddy. We got here early Thursday morning. I was such a good boy for the return trip. It was dark so I slept most of the time. Nana sat in the back seat and constantly played with me until I fell asleep. I was so excited to see Daddy! The first thing he noticed was that my hair got longer and Mommy's hair got shorter!

Thursday, before we started our long journey back to Pennsylvania, I had some very special visitors. Another one of Mommy's friends stopped by to see me. Her name is Wendy and she is the one who gave me the Fisher Price piano that I loooooove to play for Mommy and Daddy. Mommy and Daddy loves how loud it plays!

I also got to meet my very special, Great Aunt Barbara and Great Uncle Bill. They drove several hours just to see Mommy and I before we headed back north. They have prayed countless numbers of prayers for Mommy and I through out our long journey. She always called to check on Mommy when she was at the hospital and I can't even tell you how many outfits and presents she has sent me. I must give Great Aunt Barb full credit for my stylishness that you see in many of my pictures. If it is a cute outfit, Great Aunt Barb probably sent it!

I also want to wish Mandy a very Happy 2nd Birthday! I just saw pictures of your ladybug party. It looks like you all had a great time. And Molly, it is only 152 days until our first birthday!

Today was a very busy day for me. I got to go to church for the very first time. I had never been to church before because Mommy was too sick for us to go. However, she is feeling great and we decided to visit Brother Gary's church in Jackson. He was the preacher that knew my Mommy when she was a little girl. This church has did a lot of praying for us during the past 7 months. I was a very well-behaved boy and stole the hearts of a few people.

I also got to meet my Great Granny Barnett. We stopped at her house to visit before we went over to church. We got to see my cousin Ashley and my Great Aunt Sue. Mommy says that she used to take care of Ashley when she was my age. She is a senior in high school and Mommy was almost in tears when she realized that she was all grown up.

Today was an easy day for me. Mommy wanted for us to rest up, being that I was still getting over my cold. I wish John Blue didn't have to go home the other day. I miss him and I can't wait to see him again before I leave. Mommy said he had to register for school because he is a big boy. I hope that I can be a big boy pirate like him when I get bigger. This is John Blue's motorcycle. Mommy let me sit on it but said that I couldn't have one until I was a big boy like John Blue. He is a lucky boy to have such a sweet hog to ride!

Due to my absence from church on Sunday, many people found out that I was sick and said prayers for me. Well, it worked! I feel so much better. I went to bed at my normal time and only woke up once in the night for a little snack. I went right back to bed and slept to 8:30am! My fever and congestion is gone and I can breathe normal now. Mommy says that I am still a little hoarse. I thought that was an animal, but who knows?

Today I also had a very special visitor. My Mommy's best friend Jackie stopped by to see me! Jackie and Mommy go way back to the good ol' EKU and Kmart days (that's what Mommy tells me). She was also in my Mommy's wedding as her Maid of Honor. I first got to meet Jackie when she came to visit Mommy. It was probably when Mommy was the sickest throughout everything. She drove all the way from Louisville, Kentucky to Pennsylvania to see us! I could tell that it made my Mommy so happy to see her and I think it made her feel better too. Mommy had been in the hospital but ironically, was released right when Jackie and her parents came to town. I was teeny tiny when she saw me last. Jackie took a bunch of pictures of me and had them placed in a beautiful frame for Mommy. She gave them to us today. Thank you Jackie and yes, I will take good care of Mommy and Daddy. They are pretty cool and I know they mean a lot to many people. I love ya and I am so glad you came to see us!

If you haven't guessed already, I am on vacation with all my Mommy's family in Kentucky. We have stayed pretty busy and I am a little under the weather right now. I have had the sniffles once before, but I have them again. Mommy, Nana, John Blue, and I were planning on driving to Jackson for church this morning but I woke up off and on all through the night with a cough and a fever. I am starting to feel better despite the fact that I am still cutting my second top tooth. My goodness, when it rains it pours.

Anyway, the last two days we went to Mommy's cousin Teresa and Jeff's house out on the lake. This was the best family gathering I have ever been to in Kentucky. Okay, this may be my first but it will be pretty hard to top. Of course next year, I will have a mouth full of teeth and get to sample all the good food that Teresa and Jeff had for the family. I got to to meet so many new people and I even got to see one familiar face again. I got to see my Nanny, Granny Great Aunt Pat. She is the one who took care of me for the long time that Mommy was at the Hershey Medical Center. She took such good care of me and I was so excited to see her again and hear her sing my favorite song. She always makes me smile.

I also got to meet my Great-Papaw Watts. He made me laugh and I liked sitting by him. Everyone kept bragging on his teeth. I hope my new ones look as good as his! Seriously, I am a very lucky little boy because I have two Great Grandfathers and two Great Grandmothers.

There was also a bunch of people that look and sounded just like my Nana. My Mommy told me that they were my Great Aunts. I had a bunch there! Let see, I met my Great Aunt Becky who looks just like my Nana. She looks so much like my Nana, that her little girl Brittney used to mix up my Nana for her Mommy! My Great Aunt Susie was also there. She kept losing things so everyone was afraid to leave me alone with her! She is the one that got me my cool, relaxing bouncy chair that I insisted on taking with us. Lastly, there was my Great Aunt Faye. She has a lot of experience with GrandBabies. I think she has six! She was also with the man in yellow. His name was Great Uncle Clarence and you could spot his big, bright, yellow outfit a mile away! Nobody was losing him even though we tried!

There was still lots of people that I have to tell you about. However, for the moment my tylenol has kicked in and I must get a little sleep. Hope everyone had a good weekend.
