Reading, Playing and Pooping

My day consisted of reading, playing, and pooping. Yes, it was also in that order. Mommy and I spent most of the day in the playroom. As soon as we got down there, I pulled out all of my books to get some reading in. I read a couple of my books and proceeded to play. Well, that didn't last long until I had to go! Of course, in the middle of me doing my business, Mommy got her camera out and had to take some embarrassing pictures. I sure hope she doesn't show them to my future girlfriends.

See, I am not as much of a whirlwind as my Mom and Dad says I am.

This book is one of my favorite books!

I make Mommy read it to me at least twice a day.

My cowlick is back! Mommy is so excited because she always thought that it was cute as a button. Daddy, on the other hand, said that we needed to learn how to work the clippers. I don't think he is a fan of the cowlick.

You can call me twinkle toes. I definitely love to dance these days. I dance behind my kitchen, I dance with Elmo, and I dance with my Mommy! Mommy and I dance all over the living room and I laugh uncontrollably. We danced so hard today that I went to bed an hour early! I bet Mommy will go to bed early too.

I can be so silly at times.

I am contemplating my next move on the kitty here. Dallas is not too fond of me these days. I tend to poke instead of pet.

I am Mommy's little buddy! I did a good job taking care of my Mommy today. I slept in and I took 2 big naps for her. I hope she enjoyed the extra rest because I am going to be ready to go tomorrow. Oh, and no matter how many pictures that Mommy took today, I wouldn't give in and smile for any of them!

Mommy is back home and seems to be doing very good. I got so excited when I saw her pull up the driveway. Daddy told Mommy that I had been watching for her about 20 minutes. I started grinning and flapping my arms with excitement when I saw her. She played with me for about an hour and I helped her cook dinner. She said that she got good reports from her cardiologist and doesn't have to go back to see him for a whole year! That is great news! I am glad my Mom is back home because Daddy is such a handful these days! Here are some leftover pictures from yesterday!

I have a big day on Tuesday. I have to take care of my Daddy while Mommy goes to Hershey to get another Remicade infusion. Mommy told me that I have to make sure Daddy behaves himself while she is gone. I think I can handle it. I was a bit of a fussy boy today. Mommy told me to get it all out and that I needed to be real good for her the next couple of days. I am going to be taking care of Mom by myself for the first time without Nana. Last time, Mom bounced back from the infusion pretty good and we are hoping that all goes well again. She also has a cardiologist appointment tomorrow and we are praying that she gets another good report. So, if you have a spare moment, please pray that Mommy has a good day and can play with me on Wednesday.

Super Bowl Sunday!!!

Today is Super Bowl Sunday! I tried to sleep in as long as possible today so I could watch the game. I managed to watch the first half of the game and I was out like a light before halftime was over. My Daddy was home again today and I got to hang out with him pretty much all day. I was a wild man for the most part of the day. The only time I sat still was to watch Jennifer Hudson sing the National Anthem. Other than that, I made continual laps around the coffee table and through the kitchen!

I told Dad that he needed to give me the password to get through the gate. He knew the password so I, the gatekeeper, had to let him through.
