Saturday, April 25, 2009

Today was a pretty ordinary day. Mommy dressed me up in big boy clothes and we headed out to Lowe's to buy some more rocks to go around the house. I have to say that I wasn't too excited being that I am not allowed to touch any of them. You see, I put ONE rock in my mouth and now I can't get anywhere near them! Geesh! We were so busy today, Mommy didn't take a single picture. Shocker, isn't it!? Don't worry, I have some pictures left over from when I was in Kentucky that I thought I would share with you.

I bet you are wondering what could cause a face like this......

It was a loud, barking dog that had two different colored eyes!!!!

I had to give the ball a little lick. It looked like a giant gumball!

I was laughing at my Nana in this picture.

I was looking for some bugs. I didn't find a bug but I did find a leaf. What a great find!

I found Press the Monkey!

Friday, April 24, 2009

I found Monkey. I am sure you remember me talking about "Press" the Monkey. He was one of my all time favorite toys when I was little. If you push his belly, he will play twinkle twinkle little star. It really is one of my favorite songs. I love him and now I found him. I am so happy!

Mom tried to make me do my laundry today. If you look closely at my hand, you will see what I thought of that!

Mom caught me but told me that she still had a surprise for me.

Oh my goodness! It's Press the Monkey!!!!

Oh, what a good day! I have missed him so much!

Press the Monkey, is it really you?

It is! I love you Press!

So, how have you been!?

More hugs for you!

I am never going to lose you again!

What a great day for this little peanut!

Happy Birthday Nana!!!!

Thursday, April 23, 2009

Happy Birthday Nana! I wanted to give you a big traditional birthday shout out for your special day. I really wish I could have been there to give you a squeeze! I heard that you has some surprise visitors today though. I can't believe that Aunt Becky, Aunt Faye, and Great Grandpa Charlie drove all that way too see you. I hope you all had a great time. There was no party here because Mommy made me clean out her cabinet. I was a busy boy. Oh, Nana....how many months old are you?

<span class=

I couldn't understand why Mom wanted me to put everything back in the cabinet.

I figured I would just put myself in the cabinet!

What in the world!? I have to cook dinner too! How about some soup?

Wacky Mac? This may be good being that it doesn't list milk as an ingredient.

I think my shirt should say that napping makes my Mommy happy. She gets so excited when it is time for a nap. I wonder why.....

I'm Praying for you Aunt Laura.

Wednesday, April 22, 2009

I'm praying for you Aunt Laura. Mommy told me that you had to go to the doctor and that they kept you for a little bit at the hospital. I was so glad to hear that you got to go home and are feeling better. I know that many people are praying for you and thinking about you. I bet John Blue is going to give you some magic hugs to make you feel better. I wish I could come to Myrtle Beach and give you one myself but I don't think my pooh mobile will make it there. So tell Blue to give you an extra big one from me!

I had the pooh mobile packed and Mom told me that there was no way it would make it to the beach!

I can't tell you what my response was!

This is what happens when Mom opens the refrigerator door. I peek at her through the door!

How sweet do I look!?

Oh my gosh! Broom must have been playing hide and seek from me. Can you see him through the pet door?

Meet my new friend!!!

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

I would like you to meet a new friend of mine. His name is Broom. I met Broom today on the patio. Mommy brought him out to sweep the grass off the patio and I quickly made friends with him. I have to say that Broom is a lot of fun. I packed him all over the backyard and showed him all the cool things that we could do together. He even let me ride him like a pony! I am so glad that I met Broom today!

Can I help you? You know, this isn't a drive thru!

I was a man on a mission.

I have to keep my eye on Daddy. He likes to spray me with the water hose.

And then I found Broom!

I had to show him the little house!

Then we headed for the swingset.

I promise I didn't fall. I needed a little rest.

I still had Broom in my hand!

I wonder what we should look at next....

Giddy-up Broom! Dad is making it rain!

I had to go check out the new hose Dad was playing with!

We needed to wash my hands and Broom off. We had grass clippings all over us!

I wasn't too sure if I should trust Dad or not being that we aren't supposed to play in the water yet.

Broom wouldn't fit in my house so I had to talk to him out of the window.

Uneventful Day

Monday, April 20, 2009

I have to say that today was a pretty uneventful day. The only thing silly I did today was take my pants off in my crib. I tried to warn my Mommy that she needed to come get me up from my nap. I guess she didn't move fast enough. She wasn't too mad being that I needed a diaper change. She think I did it because I was trying to help her out. Mommy has an important doctor's appointment tomorrow so please say a special prayer that it goes well. I get to spend the day with my Daddy while Mommy is out tomorrow so I am sure that I will have some funny stories to share. Daddy is hoping that it stops raining so HE can play in my sandbox tomorrow.

Happy Birthday!!!!!

Sunday, April 19, 2009

I bet you are wondering whose birthday it is today. It's my blog's birthday! That's right. My blog has been up for one solid year. Time has went by so fast and I have had so much fun. We never thought that we would make it this far. This is also a very special anniversary day too for me. It was one year ago today that Mommy was home to stay....for good. We have had so much fun together over the last year and I feel like I am one lucky little boy to have so many special people in my life. I am glad you all have stuck around to read about my everyday adventures.

Mom asked me to sit still for a second so she could take my picture in my new jammies. She forgot to ask me to smile.

Two seconds and I was up chasing a kitty!

First, I tried the door knob.

Then, I decided to go through the kitty door. Don't worry, Mommy stopped me before I could even get my head through the door.

My newest obsession is old video game controllers. I want to be just like Daddy!

I am mesmerized my Yo Gabba Gabba!

Check out my white legs!

Mom was trying so hard to get me to smile.....didn't happen!

This will keep me occupied for a good 15 minutes which is forever in my world.

I have to learn how to use this so I can play games with my Cousin John Blue. Practice makes perfect!
