Sunny Day!

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

Today was soooooo beautiful! I got to play outside for an extra long time. Mommy had a dentist appointment and got an excellent checkup. She was super excited. Daddy and I had to hang around the house in hopes that Mommy's Humira would be delivered. It never came. We waited until 5:30pm before we went outside because it was supposed to be delivered between 10am and 4pm. Mommy is going to call first thing in the morning and find out what is going on with the delivery.

After we finally gave up on the delivery, Daddy and I went outside for a round of golf. I quickly abandoned my clubs and took a spin in my crazy coupe. Daddy pushed me all around the yard. I laughed so hard I almost cried. I did end up crying when I crashed my coupe. I didn't cry because I was hurt. I cried because Daddy laughed and Mommy just kept taking pictures of me while I was stuck in my crashed coupe. Mommy finally decided to play the Jaws of Life and rescued me. Of course, I hopped right back in for one final spin! I love that car!

This is my thinking face.

Daddy always seems to be watching over me while I am playing. He is such a good Dad.

The infamous crash.....

Boy, I sure do look like a grouch with a golf club here.

It is always a good time in the crazy coupe!

I could play in this car all day long if my motor (a..k.a Daddy) would only last that long.

Crazy Monday!!!!

Monday, October 19, 2009

Well, my Daddy went back to work this morning. I sure did miss him but it was so exciting to hear him pull up in the evening. I shocked Mommy and Daddy both when I got up at 2:30am and would not go back to sleep until after Daddy left for work. I thought that it would make his day easier if I said goodbye to him on his first day back to work. Needless to say, Mommy was not happy with my plan. I did go back to sleep at 4:30am and slept until 9am. I think that made Mom a little bit happier when she finally got some well needed rest. Who knows what tonight holds!?

Bye-Bye Daddy.

I was on my best behavior today after the wild night.

Daddy told me that he liked my shirt today. Mommy liked it to because it is her favorite color.

This was a leftover picture from yesterday. If you look behind us to the left you can see my Charlie Brown christmas tree that sprouted up out of nowhere in the middle of the landscaping.

I loved to run and play in the little pile of leaves that I gathered all by myself! Fall is so fun!

Outside Time!!!

Sunday, October 18, 2009

Today I FINALLY got to go outside!!!!!! I have been going loopey in this house and today was the first day in forever that it didn't rain. It was a little chilly but that didn't stop me. Mommy kicked Daddy and I out so she could cook dinner in peace. I really think she is just inside watching Yo Gabba and drinking soy.....don't tell her that I said that! Daddy goes back to work tomorrow so it is back to the old routine with Mom. Today I think I started to wear Daddy down. Normally, I am really well behaved for Dad but today.....let's just say that I was a little bit of a challenge!

This is our new view from the backyard. I am going to miss the pine trees. I loves stealing the pine cones and watching the branches blow in the breeze.

Seriously, I really think that Kennedy talked her Grandparent into cutting them down so she could watch me all the time. I think she has a crush on me.

This is how I wanted to take my nap today. Dad gave in and let me lay on him.

Look! I can point with a finger besides the "howdy" finger! Nana, aren't you proud!?

Watch out world....I can climb steps!

Mommy loved my rosy little cheeks!

Grandma Kaye, I bet this is how my Daddy used to fold his hands. I do it ALL the time!

New Friends!

Saturday, October 17, 2009

I have to tell you about my new friend that I met in Kentucky. His name is Colton and he is the little boy that my Nana has been taking care of for a bit now. I have to say that he is pretty cool. We played together everyday that I was in Kentucky. I had so much fun teaching Colton the ropes of being a toddler. We got along so well and I heard that he is missing me as much as I am missing him. I have to say Nana, Colton was my favortie toy at your house this trip. I hope I get to play with him again!

Remembering Pa Obie

Friday, October 16, 2009

These are pictures from my Pa Obie and my Great Grandpa Barnett's grave sites. My Nana did such a good job picking out the flowers. They were absolutely gorgeous. It was a very emotional day for the family but it was a big step in the grieving process. We love and miss you all very much. There is not a single day that goes by that my Mommy doesn't think about her Dad. He really meant the world to so many people especially his family.
