Happy 18 months!!!

Wednesday, July 8, 2009

Happy 18 months to me and my birthday buddy Molly! Time sure does fly when you are having fun. I can't believe that we are a year and a half old now! I feel like such a big boy. Mommy and Daddy decided to treat me to dinner and a big boy restaurant. We went to our first sit down restaurant together. After much contemplation, we decided to dine at Eat and Park. The decision was actually pretty easy being that we had a gift card that Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Seme gave us a long time ago. Mommy and Daddy had been waiting for me to learn how to sit at a table before they used it. I was such a good boy. I colored for a little bit and then Mommy had to entertain me while I waited for my french fries. We had fun and there was lots of kids there too. Oh, and I got to wear the cool airbrushed t-shirt that I got from the Smoky Mountains. I must say that I looked too cute!

Tomorrow, Mommy and Daddy promised me that we could go to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch after I get my stitches taken out. I am so excited to go play but I know the stitches part is going to be NO FUN! I am sure Mommy will take some pictures of me while we are there!

Fun Filled Family Day!

Tuesday, July 7, 2009

Wagon ride + bubbles + hour long swing ride = a Fun Filled Family Day! Daddy is on vacation this week so it means twice the fun as usual. I love having both Mommy and Daddy here to play with me all day long. I am full of energy these days. Mommy made an appointment on Thursday morning for me to get my stitches taken out. I think that Mommy is really dreading it. She told Daddy that we would definitely go to McDonald's for lunch that day so I guess it will probably hurt. Oh well, I am sure I will be over it in no time.

Mom was so shocked that I actually kept a hat on my head.

As you can see, it was a wee bit too big!

Mommy said this makes me look like a big boy.

Smoky the Bear got scared so I had to hold him. Nana got both her boys this bear from the mountains. It is the softest bear ever!

I had to show Smoky how to check the wheels on the wagon. Boy, did I get my hands dirty!

I was anxiously awaiting for Dad to blow some bubbles.

Hmmmm....Mom can do better. I told Dad to practice some.

If you are wondering about my pants, I got in a fight with the water hose. I lost.

I had to wipe off my swing so I wouldn't get dirty.

I was ready to go! I made Dad push me for about an hour!

More Family Fun Pictures!

Monday, July 6, 2009

I thought that I would share some more pictures from my fun filled weekend. We had such a blast this year and I am already looking forward to next year. We got to spend a lot of time playing in the backyard, which is my favorite thing to do. I also got a great haircut from my Grandma Kaye. Everyone hated to see my one curl go but we will just say that it was a birthday present for Daddy. I also found out this year that I am not a fan of firecrackers. Surprisingly, I was scared to death of them. It worked out well because I went to sleep when Four-Finger Mark put on the big fireworks show in the backyard. From what I can tell, it was quite a show. Next year, I think he will be charging admission for the show. I hope I can get a family discount.

Do you think these shoes make my feet look big?

Big Belly!

I was scared of the firecrackers.

I think Uncle Mark and Aunt Cathy needs a swing set for their backyard!

The race was on!

Daddy kept us all in sync.

I ran out of gas in the middle of the yard. Thank goodness Daddy was there to help me out.

The big cut! I was so memerized by Yo Gabba that I didn't even know I was getting a haircut.

I wore Uncle Mark and Aunt Cathy out!

Still watching Yo Gabba!

The final snips of my haircut. Thanks Grandma!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Sunday, July 5, 2009

Happy Birthday Daddy! Today is my Daddy's special day. I promised him not to have any boo-boos today! He liked that a lot and told me that he was going to hold me to my promise.

I also had to say goodbye to all of my company today. I wished they could have stayed longer. I was just starting to warm up to everyone. We had such a great time together despite my boo-boo incident, which was four instead of three stitches. Mommy had it wrong yesterday.

For Daddy's birthday, Mommy went to McDonalds to get Daddy and I some good fries. I was able to use the gift certificate that Great Grandma gave me to pay for my Happy Meal. Boy, it was yummmmmy! After dinner, we all went outside and played until I was wore out. I came in and Mommy tucked me in at 8:15 sharp. What a great day!

Mommy and Daddy had to change my bandage and promised me a cool one this time.

Thank goodness Nana had brought me some cool Go Diego band aids.

Gee Mom, like this doesn't draw attention to my boo-boo or anything!

I was just sitting in the grass pondering what could have went on last night that caused all the mess on my slide!

Lookin' cute with my new haircut that my Grandma gave me!

Another attention getter for my boo-boo!

Ahhhh......Dad gives the best back rubs!

Well, at least Mom got one of us to look at her. I was running on empty here!

I got a BIG boo-boo!

Friday, July 3, 2009

Well, today I got a really big boo-boo. I got to spend the morning at the emergency room where I got three stitches in my head. Yup, no joke. This morning I was running around as usual and it happened. I wasn't even running that hard but I must have got tripped up on my feet and I fell forward and hit the door frame of the kitchen. I put one heck of a dent in the wall and one big cut in my forehead. Daddy was right there with me so he quickly scooped me up. I got him pretty covered in blood. It was pretty scary. I was a pretty big boy at the hospital but boy did I cry when they had to stitch me up. They first swaddled me and had to put this fabric cloth over my face, boy I didn't like that one bit. I cried so hard that I caused all these little specks that looked like red freckles to pop up all over my face. I was a mess.

I am doing really good now. I don't even act like I had to get stitches this morning. Mommy is praying that when she has to change the dressing on it tomorrow that it won't be too bad. I promised Mommy and Daddy that I would try not to dent anymore doorways up in the future.

Mommy didn't take any pictures of the actual cut or stitches. She only took pictures of me with this silly gauze on my head.

Come on, did you think three little stitches would keep me down!?

You can see my red specks on my face. Mommy promised that they should go away soon.

Still playing.....

I told Mom to give me some soy and my fire truck and I would be good!

They made it!

Thursday, July 3, 2009

Yay...my company made it to my house. I am so excited to have so many wonderful people to play with over the next couple of days. Today, we played outside ALOT! I love being outside these days. I got lots of swing time and crazy coupe time. I also got to play with a cool bubble maker that my Grandma brought as well as an airplane and rocket. They were so much fun. I think I enjoyed Grandma Kaye running around with the airplane with me. She made me laugh so hard. I also loved having storytime with Grandma. I think she read me about 32 stories! Okay, maybe not 32 but it was a whole lot!

Ready or not.....

July, 1, 2009

Ready or not, here comes company!!! Yay! I am so ready to see my Grandma Kaye, Grandpa Kaye, Great Grandma Seme, Great Grandpa Seme, Uncle Mark, and Aunt Cathy! Mommy promised me that after one big sleep and one little sleep, they will be here to stay for a few days. I hope she was telling me the truth because I sure would be disappointed if she was fibbing to me. I spent most of the day shining up my toys for everyone. I really hope someone knows how to pull a wagon!
