Meet Rocky!

Monday, July 20, 2009

I would like to introduce you to Rocky the Horse! I love this horse. It used to sit in my room and I was too little to ride him. Now, Mom brought it into the living room and I rode him all day long! He is so much fun. I have to say that I think I am a natural on him. Mommy told me the story on how Rocky became part of the family even before me. This was the first piece of furniture that my Nana put together! I bet you never imagined me rocking on him did you! Mommy now calls me her little Buckaroo!

Well, hello horse!

I think I will ride you!

Hmmm.....maybe I should've wore pants.

Giddy-up Rocky!

Uh, you're taking pictures and I have no pants on. Gosh Mom, let me guess. You are going to put these on my blog, right?

This is the toughest cowboy pose that I could come up with considering I had no pants on.

Rocky, I think we are going to get along just fine.

I had to check him out to make sure he was in good condition.

Everything looks good under here!

Big Week!

Sunday, July 19, 2009

This week is going to be a big week for me. I go Tuesday morning to get my ears checked and if they are okay, then I get my 18 month shots. Mommy also goes Tuesday for her Remicade treatment, which means I have to take good care of her. Luckily, Daddy is off for the weekend. Hopefully that means that we can visit a new park! I had a really good day today. I slept through the night again and I took a big nap. Daddy said that he could tell that I was back to my old self. I was running around like crazy and eating everything within my reach. I even broke out some of my new dance moves for Daddy when he got home. Mommy and I had practiced them between wagon rides today!

Two Nap Day!

Saturday, July 18, 2009

Mommy was soooo happy that today was a 2 nap day! I took two big naps to give her a break. I tried to stay up to see my Daddy but I fell asleep around 9:30pm. I think that I am finally on the upswing of these ear infections. I am resting better, not running a fever, and I am eating like a piggy. Today Mom surprised me with sweet potato fries. She knows this is one of my favorite treats. She couldn't keep my plate filled fast enough. I gobbles every single one that she fixed me up within minutes. She was so proud. I also got to see more bunnies this evening. They were playing on the back porch again. Jersey even got excited when she saw them and forgot all about me. Of course, I took advantage on the situation and I pulled her tail!

Meet my favorite bunny. His name is Jack.

Here is Jack with his girlfriend Jill in the front yard.

This is Bambi stealing my peaches!

Bambi decided to go raid Linda's garden!

Finally, I decided to give Mommy a smile.

I was shocked to hear the news that Yo Gabba had a line of books out.

I love to eat the lens cap to Mommy's camera. Oh, what she will do to take my picture.

Mommy asked me to show her the rash on my belly. I did.

6 more days....

Friday, July 17, 2009

Six more days of medicine to go for me! Yay! Mommy is pretty excited too. Today was just another day of trying to get better. Daddy had to work late again so I had to tuck Mommy into bed myself. We had a pretty good day playing around the house but it rained and we couldn't spend too much time outside. We still managed to have some fun. I also got to see lots of animals today. Where, you ask? Well, I saw them in my backyard! I got to see a big deer eating peaches from our tree and I also got to see THREE rabbits on the back deck. We had never seen them get that close to the house. I think they were trying to play in my sandbox! Mommy took pictures and promises that she will share them with you tomorrow.

Getting Better!

Thursday, July 16, 2009

Well, Mommy thinks that I am getting better. I sure hope so because feeling sick is yucky. I had a rough night but I seemed to be better during the day. For some reason, I have a harder time during the night and I have been keeping Mommy up. I still hate taking my medicine. Tonight was a really rough go and Mommy and myself were both in tears. We managed to get through the dose and only have 7 days to go!

I spent the whole day laying around. This is very unusual for me!

This is the face I make when it is time to take my medicine.

I am even cute as a button when I am sick!

I love to blow kisses to Mommy.

I love my chair. It is so fun to climb on!

I had a little bed head going on here.

Geez, I had no idea that my foot looked this big in photos. I think I will be able to wear Uncle Mark's "big shoes" soon!

Double Ear Infection

Wednesday, July 15, 2009

Yes, I have a double ear infection. The doctor confirmed it at my 18 month checkup yesterday. I wasn't able to get my shots because of my fever so I get to go back next week. In the meantime, I get to take some icky medicine call amoxicillin for the next 10 days. I started to develop a rash which may or may not be from the medicine. The nurse seemed to think it was a viral rash because of my high temperature yesterday. Mommy is watching me really close today in case it gets worse. I didn't sleep well yesterday and I managed to get Mommy up at 5am this morning. She is praying really hard that I take some big naps today to make up for it.
