Today I learned all about peer pressure. Yup, I actually fell victim to it. Daddy and I decided to go outside after dinner to play. Daddy had to get a Caprisun to take outside with him to drink while I played around on the patio. Well, he offered me a little drink. I said no because I had never had anything like that before in my life. I didn't even know how to use a straw! Well, he told me that all kids like it and that I should give it a chance. He just kept pressuring me until I finally gave in and took a sip. Whoa....that is all I have to say. It had a kick to it!

Favorite Toy of the Week!

I have to tell you about my favorite toy of the week. It is my toy train. I have always liked it but for some reason, I can't put it down this week. I pack it everywhere and I am constantly making it play music. Mommy laughs at me because I will sit across the room while the music plays and as soon as it stops, I run to start it again. I repeat this about a bazillion times a day. Mommy told me that I got my love of trains from my Pa Obie and my Dad. They both like trains a lot.

The Mamarazzi was back at it with her camera. Mom took a bazillion pictures of me today. Daddy managed to give me a break from the camera when he got home. He took me outside and started up the octopus. The octopus was wild so Mommy was afraid that her camera would get wet. Daddy even let me take lots of drinks from the water hose! Mommy said that I was water logged by the time I was finished. I love playing in the backyard!

Today was another day in the books. Daddy had to work late so I only got to hang out with him for a little bit before he went to work. I decided to take a long nap. It lasted 3.5 hours! I think Mommy was super happy because she was in a great mood the rest of the day. My neighbor Linda came over to visit in the evening and I played shy at first. It only took a few minutes and I was my cute, hyper self. She was amazed at how much I had grown since she last saw me. I had to remind her that I am 17 months now.

Mommy got some funny pictures of me this morning messing with my Dad. He was sitting on the end of the couch and I decided that I would see how close I could lean it towards his head without touching him. Mommy thought it was hilarious but Dad didn't think it was too funny!

Today Mommy took me shopping to the grocery store for triple coupons. How fun! I got to hold her coupon holder and of course I held all the Gerber Puffs that she bought. Mommy was so proud because I let her spend a good 20 minutes in the store. I had to prove to her that I was a good shopper so she will let me go back with her. Our total was $62.75 before the magic coupons and $11.53 after the magic coupons! Daddy is going to be so happy because we got him 4 bottles of Texas Pete hot sauce, 4 boxes of Super Pretzels, and 3 tubs of Blue Bunny ice cream. We also got me 8 canisters of Puffs and a bunch of other stuff. The checkout lady was amazed at what a good job we had done. I hope Mommy will take me back the next time she goes to the store.

I tried to talk Mom into letting me drive us to the store.

She said that I had a lead foot and that I wasn't going to drive her anywhere!

This car is so nice! It even has it's own little hand wash in the back!

Mommy tried to dump my water out. I told her hands off!

Despite the big fight between Dallas and I, Big D still watched me play outside today.

Where's Daddy? I got up extra early so we could get some playing in and Daddy wasn't home. He had went back to work! I was a little bummed but Mommy told me that we were going to have a fun day. Although I had fun with Mom, I was so excited to see Daddy come home. Daddy took me outside and pushed me in my car. He even let me swing. I managed to stay up about 20 minutes past my bedtime. I couldn't last too long though. I was so exhausted.

Daddy always tells me that I need to keep my hands at 10 and 2.

What!?

I am a little boy in a big world.

Today I scared my Mommy and Daddy pretty good. I was playing in the kitchen and Daddy was watching TV while Mommy was putting some things away downstairs. Well, I decided that it was time to go outside and play. I opened the screen door to the patio and walked down the two steps like a big boy without falling. Mommy was coming up the stairs and ran through the kitchen to get me. It was too late I was already getting in my car and getting out of there! Needless to say, Mommy and Daddy were totally shocked that I didn't fall down the stairs. Mommy saw me step down the steps as she was coming up the stairs. I guess they will listen next time I tell them I need to go outside!
