Loooooonnnggg Day!

Thursday, May 21, 2009

I have to say that today was a long day for me and for Mom. Dad worked late so Mom had to entertain me for the evening. While we were playing, Mommy noticed that I was drooling excessively. She took a look in my mouth and she thinks that I have four teeth coming in! That would explain some of my recent behavior! I'll be glad when this teething gig is up!

See, I don't always get my way!

This is ALL I do during the day -- CLIMB!

How could Mommy ever get mad at this face!?

Mom wouldn't stop snapping pictures so I thought I would make a few faces.

Ooops! I swear that finger is longer and gets stuck.

Don't make me get down Big D or you'll be sorry!

Being that Daddy was at work, I figured I would sit in his seat.

I am starting to get a little color on my cheeks. Summer brings out the best in me!

Getting Excited!!!

Wednesday, May 20, 2009

I am really getting excited about my Nana coming to visit. I am keeping an eye on my ticker so I know exactly when she is going to be here! Today Daddy took me outside while Mommy tried to pull some weeds in the front of the house. It didn't take me long to figure out that she was around front. Mommy said that she knew we were coming because she could see two sets of WHITE legs approaching beneath the cars in the driveway. I tried to give her some help but I guess she didn't need me to rearrange the rocks for her. Needless to say, she didn't get to finish and we retreated back to the backyard together. Daddy had let me play in the hose so I was soaking wet. Mommy laughed and said that she would have been surprised if I would have been dry. Daddy lets me get by with a little more than Mom in the backyard.

I was ready for Daddy to come home so I could go outside!

Instead, Mommy made me eat my breakfast. At least I got to watch Super Why!

Oh, the fun I am going to have out there today!

If I am going to have to eat my breakfast, I am going to sit on the coffee table!

Why must Mom take pictures of EVERYTHING I do!?

Growing Up!

Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Mommy says that I am growing up. Everyday she oohs and awes over new things that I do. Today, I decided that if I wanted to go outside that I needed to pack my shoes over to the door and sit there. It worked! Mom and Dad took me out for a pretty good amount of time. I have also started to "cheese" for the camera. Dad told me that I might as well learn to accept the camera because it wasn't going anywhere. Oh, and I have also started loading up the back of my pooh mobile with blocks and unloading them into the basket across the room. Mommy is hoping that this will lead to me picking up my toys....not a chance!

Look at the ball that Dad brought me home today! He went to get a haircut and came back with a giant ball!

I was very serious outside today. We saw so many planes that was flying low over us. I asked my Mommy if Nana was on one of those planes.

Daddy loves to spin the birdhouse. He would do this for hours if I let him.

I realized that I forgot to lock my car so I had to head back to the patio. You never know who may try to take it for a spin. I saw Jersey looking her over.

Oops. Mom caught me on camera again. I really can't help it. That finger is just a tad bit longer than all the others.

Monday, May 18, 2009

Wow! We finally hit a year's worth of posts! Can you believe that we have made it this far? Today was another good day on the road with my new used car! I got up this morning from my nap and Mommy made the mistake of opening the curtains to the patio. I saw her sitting there and I had to go for a ride. After a little constant whining, Mommy decided to take me out for a bit. I had a blast! She pushed me all over the patio and then let me take her off road. I didn't want to come in. I even helped Mom pull some weeds in the landscaping. She made us come in when I started trying to eat rocks again. I guess I wasn't such a good little helper with weed pulling!

First Used Car!

Sunday, May 17, 2009

Today I got my very first used car! It was a crazy coupe that my cousin John Blue passed down to me. Mommy told me that it had been out in the garage for quite awhile. She even told me that Pa Obie was the one who brought it to my house. He was so excited for me to drive it around. Well, Mommy finally thought that today would be a good day for me to take it for a test drive. I loved it! I am hoping that I can get real good at driving it before Nana gets here so I can take her for a ride. Get ready Nana, it is less than a week until you fly to see me!!!!

Park Day!!!!

Saturday, May 16, 2009

Yay! Today was a park day! I was really nervous when I got up because it looked like rain and even started raining a bit. However, the rain quickly stopped and Dad said those magic words : Do you want to go to the park? Heck yeah! We loaded up my wagon and snacks and headed to Gifford Pinchot State Park! We had so much fun. I got to play in a big sand box, slide down a slide, and played with some musical instrument things. It was so much fun. Daddy even stopped and got me a kid's meal from Wendy's. I love their french fries! Today was such a good day!

Awwww.....breathe the fresh air!

This park is cool Dad!

That playground looks pretty big....

There was so much to look at.

Dad had to give me a pep talk before I took on the slide.

Mom started to run away from us. She was on the other side of the big sand box!

Dad held me up so I could play the bongos.

I had to bark at all the dogs that passed us.

Oh my goodness. This thing makes a weird noise.

This was a loud noisemaker too.

Oh my...there is more over there!

The maracas were so cool. I spent a lot of my time playing with these.

Let me introduce....

Friday, May 15, 2009

Let me introduce my new friend to you. His name is Elmer the Elephant. I have to say that he is pretty neat and boy does he have some nice hair. Mommy bought Elmer a little bit ago and told me that we were going to help him grow some hair. I thought Mommy had went looney on me because Elmer looked like a lost cause. Mommy reassured me that we got my hair to grow and we could definitely get Elmer some hair to grow. Well, less than a week later, Elmer has a great set of hair thanks to all my hard work. I had to water him every day after we planted the seeds. Doesn't Elmer look good?
